I just found an internet writeup of the famous 1986 FBI shootout in Florida where several agents ended up getting into a firefight with an ex-Ranger and an ex-Marine who were bank robbers. Since we like to discuss the performance and behavior of various firearms on this forum I thought it would be interesting background material to post here. Exerpt:
