One of my minor pet peavs from way back is the use of the word 'delicious' when describing food or beverage in an rpg. I maintain that no matter how fresh or expertly prepared the sashimi, if you don't like sashimi it's not "delicious". I always prefer the menu items to be briefly described so that my character can make up his own mind whether or not he thinks that meal is delicious. That in mind I offer a couple of dishes I've used or intend to use for Shadowrun. Feel free to add your own recipes to the menu.

Gak- It somehow seemed appropriate that orks would take a liking to "klingon" inspired dishes. "Gak", a mangalling of the klingon word "gagh", consists of a scoop of live earthworms smothered in sauce, usually imitation teriyaki but sometimes cury or southwestern style BBQ sauce instead. (Note to Star Trek fans out there: Real Klingon Gagh doesn't consist of earthworms- I know this, You know this, but when the one-eyed troll smoking the clove cigar with the white chef's hat says it's "Gak" I'm willing to take his word on it, aren't you?)

Underground Taco- Your standard Americanized Taco (as perverted by Taco Bell) only consisting of 1/4 kilo of seasoned, shreaded ratmeat (usually raised rat rather than "free range") topped with imitation Americanized cheese (basically oil & water) chopped reconstituted kelp (as a lettuce substitute) and dusted liberally with diced canned habanero pepper wrapped in a wilted corn husk.

Fillet of Megladon- For the executive with an unclear understanding of his place in the food chain, we offer wood fired fillet of Megladon Shark drizzled with apricot sauce, served with fresh vegitable medley and oven fresh sourdough bread.

Chowderbowl- A classic re-introduced as the mainstay of a new fastfood chain, the chowderbowl consists of any of several varieties of chowder (corn, fish, or even chili) served in a small loaf of sourdough bread cut to serve as a makeshift bowl.
