Someone has had the bright idea to program a perfect replica of the Starfighter video game / illegal recruitment tool from The Last Starfighter.
http://www.roguesynapse.com/games/last_starfighter.php This is a game that would have been well beyond state of the art in the 1980s, but not has a nice retro feel to it. It's an extremely immersive game in spite of it's graphic simplicity, so much so that you'd be half-expecting Centauri to show up if you got a high score. |
