I'm new to SR4 and will be GMing it for the first time shortly. I have a couple questions that I've been butting heads over with one of my players and I could really use the community's help in getting a definitive answer.
My player claims her character will be holding down a security corp day job with a Fake SIN. Personally, I feel with the types of background checks a security corp would run on a prospective employee, not even a Rating 6 Fake SIN would hold up. Am I right? Or just being small minded? This player also claims that her character will be working for said security corp without the Day Job Negative Quality. Is that possible? If so, how would that work rules-wise?
