A Snake-eyes system allows a rigger to percieve all of the senses of a character, and even 'jump-into' the character as he might a drone, but not 'pilot' the character remotely. This got me thinking about how it could be possible for a character to be piloted remotely, and the obvious (to me anyway) choice for 'ware to control a character's actions is a Skillwires system.
Do you think this would be possible? I was thinking about making a special skillsoft which interprets data from the character and turns it into skillwire actions. The rigging character's skill usage would be limited to the rating of the skillsoft, and the rigging character is unable to use the rigged character's skills. Does that all seem reasonable? Perhaps too harsh as there are no limits imposed on skill use through drones? |
