Hey folks.
Some of the agents of the Catalyst Demo Team will be running games at Ohayocon, in Columbus, Ohio January 18-20, 2013. If you can come to the show and get involved, we still have seats available, and we'd love to have you! One BIG thing that's going down at Ohayocon this year is a new Shadowrun Live Action game. This isn't the Scramble that is run at Origins and Gencon, this is something completely new. The name of the game is "Turf War Terror" and it showcases four rival gangs engaging in all out warfare in the Chicago Containment Zone. Even if you can't be at the convention, you CAN be a part of this larp! Turf War Terror will be a "Twitter Enhanced" game. The players will be sending and receiving "matrix" information by following the Twitter hashtag #slarpoc13 We'd love it if Shadowrun fans from all over got involved in the fun! The Larp starts at 1800, Eastern Time on Saturday January 19. Feel free to join in the commentary. Help the runners on site survive as they try to carve out their own little corner of Hell in bug-infested Chi-town! Even if you don't want to add to the discussion, you can follow the feed over at the Critical Glitch website. Go to criticalglitch.com, select Twitter Feed at the top of the page, and click on Shadowrun LARP Ohayocon 2013. Hope to see a lot of comments! |
