Fangirl: yay Dark Dungeons! That was the one that got me in to D&D! I love those little pamphlets!

Hell yeah! Without Dark Dungeons, I would have thought that D&D was just a game! But then Jack Chick told me that it would teach me to cast real spells! If it weren't for Jack Chick, I wouldn't be an nigh-omnipotent archmage today! Thanks, Jack Chick!

Jack Chick taught me that the Pope is really the Antichrist so now I incorporate Catholic dogma into my everyday life. Hail Lucifer!

WR - CNN has been doing a bunch of articles on how violence in women is going up. Maybe your day is coming soon!!

Yes. Perhaps my planned ultra-realistic martial arts RPG, "Savage Beatdown: The RPG" can do for the game-susceptible population what "Blue Rose" tried to do to the romantic fantasy susceptible population.

QUOTE (SL James)
Dude... Why?

Well, this is something that I've been thinking about lately. I've recently found out through personal experience that when you leave the US and go to places where "traditional" gender roles still largely prevail you really do see things like women going about laundry and cooking and cleaning while feeling like it's their duty, women not having any idea that they're capable of physically fighting, and being too shy to take up any sort of vigorous exercise.

I've mulled over this for a while and I think that I've decided that the sooner we can get more women to be aggro and combative the better. I realized that I don't much care for pre-feminism women.

Personally, I reject the academic and abstract excesses of academic feminism as being arbitrary and inapplicable to the world outside of an academic setting. I think that real gender equality can only arise not from highly abstract complaining and alienating lobbying, but rather from 1.) economic empowerment, and 2.) creating a more aggressive and assertive mental state, which in turn can be built through increased interest in real (as in, full contact boxing rather than McFlippy TKD) combative sports.

Or you can pump them up with enough steroids to eventually form testicles.

But my question was more to the point of why did you have to bring up Blue Rose? :)

Because Nisarg/RPGPundit has given me a major hard on for Blue Rose with its magic deer on this weblog, www.xanga.com/rpgpundit.

While the initial premise with the magic deer and socialist state is pretty funny in and of itself I've gotten to thinking that a really kickass campaign would actually be a strategy/military medieval orientated one where the PCs are this team of patriarchal commandoes from the evil patriarchal kingdom and they have this suicide mission where they're supposed to go and assassinate the magic deer.

The tone of such a campaign could be a kind of cruel humor type campaign. Like, you could make fun of the foundations of romantic fantasy by having the main kingdom be economically dysfunctional because they go and penalize anyone who accumulates too much wealth, and things like that. (Politically I'm left of center but I recognize a kickass political joke when I see one.) The society could be paralyzed by political correctness and populated by effeminite citizens. Think some of the gags from "Demolition Man".

Basically, I'm thinking a hard tactical game combined with derisive humor and over-the-top violence. I think that if it were GMed with excellent narration by someone with a good grasp of political science and economics it would be the milk-snorting campaign of the century.
