I think at this point, i'm just gonna chime in and say that the Weapon Mount rules are hella dumb. |

It's been mentioned in a thread over in the General Gaming fourm a while back. Shadowrun was one of the prime sources of inspiration for the developers, and I think it does a very good job of honoring its roots while striking out to do its own thing.

I like their take on the 'trix. Just one (probably for game balance reasons) gripe about that is that you can never move further upstream than one node from your jack-in point. This is probably to prevent the attacking team from flooding all their nodes and running upstream in a mammoth assault wave. On the same token, the only way for there to be more than one defender in the same node at the same time is if the defenders were physically pushed back, then pushed the attackers back, thus granting them access to more than one jackpoint. Rare, but not out of the question.
It's pretty fun, too. Especially if you use the heavy guy, because the Fatman Fist weapon hits like a gravgun, so you can knock stuff around the level. Course, the gravgun would be easier... :P -------------------- Runners are not going to work for less money than they could make by stealing a Ford Americar once every couple of weeks and having the group troll negotiate the sale to a chop shop. ~ mmu1
