Looks good!

Is that Cerebral Booster R1 or R2? Because you list Logic as 3/5.

One problem, I think, is that you cannot use the Sustaining Foci for Increase Reaction / Logic, because (augmented) they are higher than their Force (3), and you need to cast those spells at Force Rating >= Attribute Rating. Maybe you should recheck, that this actually works as you intend it to.

And one more thing... I would try to scrap together the 3k¥ to upgrade that Fake SIN to Rating 4 (Rating 1 isn't much of a protection and will regularily fail, even with low-end scanners).

Bye
Thanee

Thanks. Even with a spreadsheet its hard to do these things. I will do some more tweaking

You are right on all counts

I don't really plan on using the fake SIN, I took it out of habit.

Since we're using karmagen, breaking groups is fine. Just make sure to indicate you did this on your sheet so it's easy to check math.

Just a quick reminder that I'd prefer to see sheets in the next day or two if you don't have anything posted yet. I'll be going through them this week to fix up the knowledge skills, and would like to have the weekend to finalize and get the intro together so that I can post it on the 7th.

If there's anything you guys need answered, or want help with, just let me know (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) .

I'd be more than excited to join into this game if slots are open, and if not I shall take a seat on the reserve bench. The character concept is the somewhat spoiled son of two heavy wuxing mages who are heavy Daoist practitioners. He himself is one as well, though lacking in magical skill but making up for it in a somewhat rebellious nature as he's left home due to "religious" disputes. He's a minor summoner/hacker.

Other idea I had if the wuxing group doesn't hold up is a Bhuddist magic defense specialist with full pacifism who has come to hong kong from the small monastary he'd lived in since birth to attempt to find his father who had left him there when he was born.

I'll get them in the works tonight once I get out of work. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grinbig.gif)

GM: Belvidere... you want to create a self-replicating virus to infest Ares and crash the company?
Belvidere: Well yeah... they've fucked with us one too many times.
GM: So what's your plan to stop this virus once it destroys Ares?
Belvidere: Well.... I hadn't thought of that part yet.
GM: Congratulations! And you cause the matrix crash of 2073!!

More starting karma? I'm having trouble buying everything I want... ^_^

More seriously, though, I had a small personal emergency come up over the weekend, so I was unable to get everything done that I needed to. I've been working on the charsheet off and on all day, so I'll hopefully have something narrowed down soon. I'll try to get it up some time tonight.

At the moment the game is full, but if anyone doesn't finish their character by this weekend, I'll give priority to people on the wait list who do have complete sheets. Since I'm going with the post or die method, there's also the possibility of people getting murdered if they don't keep up with posting (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) .

Hehe, everyone can always use more karma. No big deal on the sheet. better to deal with RL stuff first. And I'm mostly interested in making sure I have a couple days to take care of the knowledge skills, rather than having any specific sheet.

Looks good so far.

By the way, the magic people that are interested in being in a magical group together should try to work out strictures and purpose together. It's not critical in the short term, but it would probably help define the way you view each other.

Everything seems to be coming together pretty well, glad you guys are looking forward to this (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) . For those with backgrounds and/or 20Q's given, I'll be sending you PM's to go over knowledge skills in the next couple days. If I miss something you think is important, please feel free to point it out.

Looking good, I've gone through a couple of the sheets/backgrounds to take care of the skills, and should have time to do a few more this afternoon, so we're definitely on track to start this up on Monday.

For Kim & Mickle: I'd prefer you guys switch out the Sensitive System negative unless you're planning on actively pursuing some augmentations. If you're planning on remaining pure magic-users, it's no hindrance at all, and it doesn't give me any real plot value unless I just abuse your characters, which isn't really a nice thing to do (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) . Flaws don't have to be crippling, but they should at least be something you have a reasonable chance of having to deal with.

I don't think we decided on the strictures of the group.

I looked at streetmagic, and thought that we don't actually need any strictures unless we want them. I quite fancy the fraternity restriction. What about the rest of you?
