He never knew his father, and though his mother never spoke of him, Ryan suspected that he died during the Night of Rage. His mother Sylvia working 16-hour days cleaning for whoever would hire her to provide for the two of them, hardly spent any time at home at all. Consequently, Ryan grew up on the streets of the Elven slum. He would have stayed there, living and dying in obscurity if it wasn't for the Ancients' mage, Flick, who discovered his potential for magic early in Ryan's 9th year. Flick proceeded to act as his guardian, especially after Sylvia died in the fall of 2051, seeing to his schooling and even supplying an illegitimate SIN for the young mage. Ryan eventually enrolled at the University of Washington [U-Dub], where he pursued a curriculum of law as well as thaumaturgy. It was through Flick that Ryan met up with Dr. Linda Modine, who's Bellevue clinical services have come in handy on several occasions. While he was at U-Dub, Ryan was officially inducted into the Ancients, and learned of the various schisms inside the Elven gang. During the school breaks, Flick arranged for Ryan to spend time with 'friends' in Tir Tairngire, learning about the Elven ways and traditions, as well as furthering his education, both mundane and magical. While he was there, Ryan discovered he felt an affinity for the people of the Tir, and was appalled at the political situation and how it affected their way of life. He met several influential friends of the Ancients, liaisons of a sort for the faction of the Ancients that is closely allied with the Elven government. He also met with representatives of those who would bring the tyrannical rulers down, Rinelle ke'Tesrae. This went a long way in furthering his own opinion of the need for the Ancients to step up their efforts against the ruling class of the Tir. This opinion was, and still is somewhat contentious amongst the Ancients in general, and so Ryan keeps his true loyalties close to his chest, revealing them only when he is sure that the reaction will be positive. While technically a full member of the Ancients, over time Flick had managed to help distance and insulate Ryan from the gang's mainstream. Description Ryan O'Shea is short for an Elf, standing barely over 6 foot in height, though he does have the typical Elven figure, a thin, wiry frame. He usually keeps his long golden blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail, and has piercing lavender eyes that some people take for cyber at first glance, before noticing the sparkle of life that would otherwise be absent from replacements. Ryan's taste in clothing tends towards trendy street attire, but he appears equally at ease dressed in conservative corporate fashion. Dwight never was much for book learnin', so he dropped out of school at 17 to join the Army. While not much of a leader, Dwight turned out to be an excellent soldier. He ended up in the 75th Ranger Regiment, and spent several years deployed with them. After his enlistment period with the Army was up, Dwight was offered a job with Callisto Assests, a secuirty/merc unit that held several contracts in the middle east and Greece. The pay was better, and Dwight was promised more autonomy, so he was eager to jump on board. Life was good for Dwight until about the time the second crash happened. He doesn't speak much on it, but he has said that the contracts ran dry and Callisto Assests folded. So he follwed Dane Roughart (close friend and fellow Callisto merc) back to Seattle to look for some independant work. Dane introduced Dwight to Ellis, a Seattle Fixer who specializes in Merc Ops, and thus Dwight's Shadowrunning career began. A few months ago, Dane was killed by Yakuza in a run gone sour, and Dwight has been trying to adjust to being a shadowrunner on his own. First impressions Dwight looks the part of your typical mid-western farm hand...sandy-brown hair, brown eyes, and skinned tanned from years of being outdoors. He keeps himself in almost olympic-athletic shape, though his 5'10" in frame is hardly what you would call imposing. Dwight smiles more than he talks, but don't let that fool you...he ususally knows more about what is going on than you do. His situational awareness is top-notch, and he is often the first to notice if something is odd or out of place. Personality Dwight is a skilled soldier, but he's not much of a leader. He works best when given a task or goal, and allowed to accomplish it in his own way. He works well in a team environment, and makes the lives of his teammates his top priority. Misc . Dwight is usually the teams general weapons expert, and has a small gunshop in the spare bedroom of his apartment. He does everything from loading his own ammo to customizing firearms for his teammates.

But Nathan doesn’t know any of this and the gangers certainly aren’t bragging about it. He got to be friends with one ganger - Grubby, who was secretly a fan of Morgan Rilke’s books. When he could sneak away, Grubby would eat dinner at the Rilke household to visit Nathan’s grandparents. He attended a technical school for driving, charmed by his grandmother’s (exaggerated) tales of the road and his grandfather’s equally engaging books on her (exaggerated) adventures. He moved out on his own and got a job driving a cab in the city. He saved enough to get his own car and hire out as a personal driver. This business was a hand-to-mouth until one very nasty and nearly fatal trip. Nathaniel managed to slip the pursuit and deliver the Fixer to her destination. But they hadn’t totally lost the tail. Nathan’s drone shrilled a warning - almost too late - he shoved the woman down to the pavement in time to catch a bullet. He stuffed the Fixer into his car and, bleeding, made for the airport and the safety the myriad private hangers with their security and his pal, Anders. Anders drummed up clearance for Nathan’s sedan and soon she was winging away to safety. Within minutes another car pulled up to the remote hangar and a masked medic and a tech piled out and fixed up Nathan’s gunshot. Anders could only shrug. “Miss White sends her regards,” said the medic, handing Anders a credstick and Nathan a chip. The chip had contact information for Miss White and a number of other useful bits of data for an aspiring Driver. He was on his way. Nathan has embraced the new wireless world and works with and around it to facilitate his work. He has some relatively light cyber and likes to tinker with his gear when not working jobs. He tries to keep up on happening in the city, especially between the corps, the source of most of his jobs. Description Nathaniel Rilke is an unassuming man of medium to tall height and a slight build. He wears his curly dark hair very short and close to his head. He has rarely-glimpsed brown eyes, rarely glimpsed because they're usually behind dark shades that only come off at night. And not always even then, for the information they relay. Also the response/system ratings weren't good enough for my programs. I added a second datajack to plug the commlink into, not sure it you'll ever need two datajacks in SR4, but we'll see.:)

For a few weeks. :) Nathan is doing Search Operations to find out more info about Frosty and Club Zero. On parking and the meet - he will drop Beckett at the meet as if he were Beckett's driver - which I guess he is - and then park wherever Valet allows him to. He won't let anyone drive his car. If that means bringing his portable scooter he will. The Valet guys can park that if they must. :) The doberman will not be armed with weapons (just arms :) ).

Frost is mundane with lots of cyber. There is also a elemental hiding in the astral. Looks like Fire.
