Getting up from his seat, George slicked the rinkles out of his suit, but undoing the only button that was keeping it close. The job had now officialy started, and he would have to meet force with force.
While getting his mirror shades on, he looked at Nadia. The girl was rather cute. They actualy both were. Judith would have his head if she knew he was working with two woman. "Suggestions? Yea, lets move. Now." Somehow, none of the two girls really struck him as the warrior type; but in the shadows, apparences could be deciving. Not could.... they always were. "We get him to a safe place, and then we'll discuss whatever needs to be discussed." George looked a both woman, from head to toe. "Any of you spell slingers?" |

"Not here," Nadia answers as she heads out of the coffee shop towards the bookstore entrance.
"I got tested not too long ago and found out that I'm a physical adept so I guess my magic is on the inside. But don't expect me to take on twenty goons with my bare hands. I've been working on a few skills but they aren't really related to fighting." |

George's voice sounded strangely iritated.
"My point is mostly: can any of you watch the astral space. I'm more than able to take care of anything on two legs. But spirits and elementals aren't really my playing field." He turned to Hobbes. "Mister Hobbes, if you please" he motioned him to get up. "We need to get moving. Now. Do you have a mode of transportation at your disposal?" |

Caitlin nods at George's question. "I'm a sorceress, yes. I can watch astral space, and disrupt any spirits that they send after us, as well as handling spell defence." She frowns slightly. "I agree with the need to expedite things, but I wasn't expecting to fly right out of the initial meet, into the job. I don't have all of my gear with me. At the very least, we need to stop somewhere and buy a medkit, so that I can patch up anyone who gets injured. And my body armor for this meet was more towards the 'subtle' end than the 'bullet-stopping' end." |

"If we can get to a safe place then we can take turns to go out and get anything else that we need." Nadia suggests.

Caitlin frowns slightly, but seems to reluctantly agree. "Yes. I hate splitting up a small group like this, but we do need enough of our gear to handle the heavy hitters that they'll be sending out after us. That sounds like the best option." She glances at George, though, to see if the ork also agrees. For three people, it's best to have a consensus. |

"We can always do that...." he jerks his thumb behind him, designating Hobbes "but not before he is safe and sound."

Hobbes was already on the cellphone. "Harry, meet us out front if you would please..." The man shrugs at his new bodyguards. "The hotel offered him to me." He says simply. And shortly there after, a Nightsky rolls up. A thin black man of perhaps 60, with curly grey hair beneath a black chaueffer's cap steps out and waits by the car. The distance from the cafe to the limo is not more than 20 yards, half of it indoors, but during the meeting things have started to get a little busier, with college age students moving in and out through the door at a quick rate. |

Seeing the Nightsky pull up to the curb, George's face turned into a frown. He didn't personally knew what sort of opposition they were facing, but a sure thing was that he wasn't going to take any chances. He turned to the two women. "You two wait here with him" The comment didn't sound like a suggestion. Reaching in his pocket, he took 50 UCAS dollars out of his wallet and went to the nearest bookstore employee, preferably a man. "Excuse me?", his tone sounded timid. "I was wondering if there was a backdoor in this establishment. You see.... my friend over there just broke up with his girlfriend a few minutes ago. And... well... " the ork started shifting his weight from one foot to the other, trying to fake nervousness. "Well, she's waiting outside for him... but he's with his new girl" he gestured toward Caitlin "and we'd sure love to avoid some cat fight." He laughed a nervous quick one. "So.. come on man, if you could just help me out here... you know... smuggle us out the back door to avoid the whole thing." |

While the clerk is apparently completely unconvinced that George is interested in maintaining the peace between two amazon women, He does seem convinced that fifty in cold hard cred is the right price to PRETEND that's what he wants. "Sure man. It's through the back here, I'll show you..." He gestures behind the counter, where a hallway leads back into the employees only section. He waits there patiently, for George to get together whoever it is whose really avoiding whoever it is they are really avoiding. He maintains a smug look on his face, as those who just made a quick buck tend to do, as George returned to the group, informing them that he'd earned approval to go out through the service entrance. "So should I tell Harry to meet us back there?" Hobbes says, a little puzzled. |

After giving a warm handshake to the helpful employee, George went back to his employer's side. "No need to worry sir, I will inform your driver myself. I'll met you all out back in a minute." Without another word, Pliskin walked out the door and approached the driver. Extending his left hand foward, he smiled brightly and spoke in a firm tone. He made sure to lower his mirror shades enough for the man to see his eyes. It was always easier to establish contact by looking at people. "Harry, isn't it? I'm Pliskin. Mister Hobbes request that you meet him behind the store. He'll be there in a minute. I'll join you very soon" On that note, the business suit wearing ork crossed the street and hopped on his Harley. |

As George walks out the front door, Caitlin gently steers Hobbes towards the back door. She thinks the ork might be overdoing it a bit, but she's prepared to defer to his obvious bodyguarding experience. As they exit, she forces herself to look more nonchalant, but behind her mirrorshades she is peering into the astral plane, seeing if any surprises are lurking for them. |

"At least i'm getting my money's worth." Hobbes quips, as Nadia and Caitlin escort him through the rear of the book store. As they are moving him, his cellphone rings. He answers as the procession of three continues past a group of three employees, all males, are sitting on top of a stack of books. The acrid smell of some kind of recreational illegal drug hits nostrils. Caitlin Only [ Spoiler ] As the two "bodyguards" and their "client" wait for their transportation, they hear a shout. The three students have stood up, and are saundering towards the group. "Hey Sweet cheeks!" offers one, his shaved head featuring a brilliantly tattooed cranium. Tattoos also peek out under neath the sleeves of his work shirt, which says "University Bookstore" on it in Blue. The other two are wearing similar outfits, one has a nose ring which gives him a distinctly pig like impression, while the other is skinny, long orange hair trailing down to the middle of his back. ... Meanwhile, George waits as the Limo starts up, and begins to head towards the alley where the service entrance comes out. the limo is about halfway through the alley when he stops. As George strains his neck he can see what appears to be a Campus Security Officer standing in front of a sign that says "Loading/Unloading Only" A pistol is strapped to his hip, and a baton dangles from the otherside of the utility belt. He is approaching the driver window of the Limo.... |

Man, we don't have time for this! Nadia thinks angrily. She can't stand men who lord over women either.
Looking the tattooed freak striaght in the eye she says, "SIT DOWN, FRAGGER!" in a control voice, one of the new powers she's been wanting to try out. |

Seeing the security guard, George could do nothing but curse under his breath. What a great start... Security guards were usually overworked and underpaid, and getting passed him for such a small thing as picking up someone probably wouldn't be a problem. But there was always a chance he was one of the motivated and honest ones. Even worst; maybe he was one of those ex cop recycled in the security business. George twisted the handle bar of his heavy Scorpion roar and cruise down the alley up to the security guard. Without turning the engine, he got off, taking his mirror shades off and gently hooking them on his shirt's collar. He smiled broadly at the guard. There was no doubt in George's mind that he could take out the man in a split second, but such a thing seemed too.... exagerated. The ork spoke in the warmest of tones of her could muster. "Good evening officer!" Sec. people always had a boner for being treated like real law enforcement people. "It's alright Harry. Go pick Mister H up. I will explain the situation to the officer". George looked for a name tag on the man's uniform. It was also always better to call people by their name... made them feel secure. "What seems to be the issue, sir?" |

The trouble making tattooed chauvinist blinks stupidly for a moment, and than sits back, as if onto a chair.. where of course no chair exists, and the man goes crashing to the ground with a thump. He stares up at Nadia with a look of confusion and some fear.
The other two men look at the women, than at the man they are standing in front, and decide whatever it is they've come across it is definetely NOT a pair of easily harassed Co-eds... They begin to backpedal, managing to look both shame faced, and pissed off at the same time... Meanwhile, in front of the alley, the Security Guard (whose name appears to be Officer Franklin, steps in front of the limo so it cannot move, and than looks at the ork carefully. "That's a service entrance... Loading and Unloading of University Bookstore products, and employee parking only." He raises a chubby index finger, partially covered in a half finger glove, towards the sign, as he does so his eyes glance down at the hood ornament on the limo.. clearly NOT the average joe trying to get free parking in the employee lot, is the thinking his eyes betray. |

Making sure that Hobbes stays close, Nadia heads for the exit. |

"Well, Officer Franklin, I completely understand."
Pliskin undid the only button that was keeping his jacket closed. You never know. He walked close the man, stopping just close enough to be within arms reach. "As you have noticed, this car is a luxury car. Luxurious vehicles are for important people, aren't they?" The ork's tone of voice sounded annoyed more than anything. "My employer is an important man, who's security I have to provide. We already have the store's agreement to use this door because we are currently trying to avoid having him seen in public. We will not park, I can assure you, and if we do, I'll call the towing myself. In a fews seconds, my employer will come out thru that door" he pointed the back door to the store "and will get in this car." He let out a heavy sigh. "The car will simply pick him up and drive off. If we can wait for the to come out if you'd like. If we weren't cleared for this, do you really think that my employer would show up?" He gestured the guard to step away from the car. "Now please, Officer Franklin, stop this foolishness. My employer will not be pleased if his ride is delayed: I'll loose my job, the driver will loose his job, and my employer's lawyers will probably take actions agaisn't you and your respective employers. Lets simply avoid all this: we will not be in the area more than one minute." Now get the frag out of the way or I'll have to crack your neck. |

Caitlin raises a mental eyebrow at Nadia's use of her power. Very interesting technique - quicker than causing a scene would be, and definitely a bit subtler than a stunball.
She stays alert for astral threats, but no spirit spies seem to be tailing the group yet. George is talking to a security guard - but looks to have the situation handled so far. She still mentally prepares herself to step in and help, if needed, playing the part of an annoyed corporate suit who is wondering what the delay is. |

Officer Franklin's inquisitive look alters into one of Why do I even bother
He nods, two or three times more than is necessary. Then..as the door opens behind him, he looks over his shoulder. seeing Caitlin and Nadia he smiles briefly, a look of recognition on his face, before he leans in to George and says: "Can I get an autograph for my kid? He's a huge fan." He steps out of the way of the limo, which roars past, parking itself close to where the two females have come out. |

An autograph? From who the hell!
George buttoned his jacket back up. "Thank you very much Officer Franklin. Your cooperation is due noted and appreciated." He started walking back to his motorcycle when he stopped dead in his tracks. "Would you happen to have a pen and something to sign on... and what is your kids name? I'll pass on the information right away" |

"Charlie..." says the rent-a-cop, handing over a notepad and a pen from his front pocket. "He's a huge fan of her music," He says, gesturing at Caitlin with his head.
"Music is a little loud for my taste, but... kids these days you know..." He says. |

As he took the pen and notpad, George chuckled to the man remark, as if he understood what he meant.
"Yea; tell me about it." Leaving his idling motorcycle behind him, George walked a fast pace over to Caitlin. Handing her both items, he spoke in a whisper. "Give the man an autograph; kid's name is Charlie." Without adding another word, George got back on his motorcycle, and got his shades back on. It was time to get moving. |
