Okay firstly in shadowrun2 the orc artist adam alone is pictured standing in paris, he looks an awful lot like Garlthrik one-eye from ED(the picture is in the GM section of the ED first ed, same damn beret and cloak, who was big on being loner (his philosophy is discussed in The Longing Ring novel). In several ED sources it is suggested that he has had an exceptionally long life for an orc. In an adventure I think from the ED Journal magazine the heroes get an item that prevents senility. He is a possible candidtae for Brightlight IMO as the azzie annotations include a note that there was never anything of significance that Brightlight didn't know. Garlthrik has the best info gathering organisation in ED if you want to know it ask him basically.

As a side point it was at a gallery opening party for Adam Alone's work that the Big D met Nadja Davier.

Secondly and my knowledge on this is sketchy as I've only scanned the book in question in my FLGS. In the book of dragons revised and expanded there is an adventure. The party are working for Moutainshadow, and end up in the midst of a face off between him and Alamaise over the stuff the party uncover onto of stormhead(reach? the previously horror cloud surrounded mountain.) The stuff is a large staff like key (Alamaise gets this something to do with his offspring, possibly the First Key of Power?), a large block of jade (Mountainshadow gets this, its description puts it about big enough for being the block from which the Dragon of Wind and Water is carved) and lastly a bag of five odd coins that have holes in the middle and odd characters. (Mountainshadow gets these too, but gives the party one for a while, their luck escalates and they do very well for a while, it then vanishes. These are almost certainly the Coins of luck Dunk gives out.)

There you go thats my lot.

Interesting, and definitely food for thought. You've made some logical points. I'm eagerly awaiting AH's comments.

Your conclusions seem to be logical, but i don't like the idead of Immortal Nazi Orks. So i won't use it.
Can you please give a page reference for the picture in SR2 you mentioned?

PS: Drop Bears won't attack anyone. Only to cause fear and terror or destroy/kill enemies of the Drop Bears, but AH certainly isn't one ;)

The picture is on the third page of the 2053 walkabout section between pages 128 and 129. Garlthrik aint an nazi btw, not sure where he'll stand on the conspiracy.

The ED picture is on page 323 of the second ed main rules. can't find my 1st ed ED book so no ref for that.

If drop bears don't attack what the hell dropped on me and chewed my shoulder?

EDIT my othe half jusy found ED1st page 229 in there.

Simmer down, kiddos. In reverse order:

You can check out the updated listings for the Coins of Luck, Jade Dragon of Wind and Fire, and waaay down on the Immortals list. I updated those a couple weeks ago - given, I should probably add individual entries in the entries for Alamaise and Dunkelzahn as well as the Shadowrun/Earthdawn Crossover page.

I generally don't consider artwork a good standard by which to judge these crossover material, and in any event the French ork looks far too young to be old One Eye. I'd question the last bit - sure, his network is good, but I wouldn't rate it over the Songbird network or the various spies for Thera, Throal and the Great Dragons that operate in Barsaive.

Thanks for keeping an eye out though - Ghost knows I need people to keep me accurate.

Cool hadn't checked the artifacts list so missed those.

mostly my connections run with the clothes which are similar and the obvious cybereyes in the SR picture.

I'll keep an eye out for anything else. I get a kick out of how much our independent analysis matches up.
