Well, it could be satire, commenting on the form of government communist governments have historically landed on. Anyways, I was once part of a group playing a team of unusually moral Shadowrunners. They ended up doing runs, for less money than they could have made elsewhere, doing runs for Lone Star that had suspects rich or powerful enough that Lone Star didn't want to tangle with them without a form of deniability. The characters actually ended up being retired because they were no longer willing to do the sort of crimes the GM wanted to run. We ran into my character later on during a run, as the GM had decided that he officially joined Lone Star. Always nice to have one of your characters get beaten up by a former character. |

After a fairly profitable mission (during which the team "commandered" a large Russian Transport plane & sold it to a well heeled Mercenary back in the CAS) three of the characters donated a combined total of 2.15 million to a relief effort set up by the wiz kid Leela (the PC turned NPC mentioned earlier in this thread) to help refugees displaced by the Serb-Croatian conflict.
I adjusted their Karma awards appropriately for the gesture. Unfortunately for them, the now all have the kid as a permanent contact. |
