In the New Seattle book, a police officer is listed with Karma/Professional Rating 2/2

What does that mean? I have been ignoring the Professional Rating so far, but I want to make sure I am not missing anything important.

Professional Rating refers to how long that specific NPC stays in a fight after the shit hits the fan. A Rating of 1 means they will retire after receiving a Light Wound. A 2 means they will stick it out till they take a Moderate. An NPC with a Professional Rating of 3 will hang tough till they get a Serious wound, while those with a 4 are in the fight till the death.
