from what i understand this isnt as much a eye replacement as a induction coil pressed up against the skull next to the eye and using a magnetic field to edit the image seen.
kinda like how they have found that localized magnetic fields can alter peoples emotions... |

it may not be eye replacement, but does it mean that I can get night vision, that is the only thing that really matters.

oh there are, but all of thier downfalls can be solved if the system is slaved directly to you vision. (ie flaring, no depth preseption, etc.)
