> Hi all,
This is finally done... I finish my CharGen. It's not a really good CharGen and there is many limit that I don't like but I had not enought time and motivation to do more. (the program was write in two weeks in the end of august but since then i had to enter various data so it take a lot of delay...). So anyway i hope you can use it and you find it usefull. If you find any bug, please report them here or by PM or mail. Thanks Daegann's Character Generator for SR4 > Daegann |

When buying equipment it would be good to have the ability to specify quantities.
Oh and in 'Other Equipment', GPS is listed twice. The second one is actually supposed to be called a HAZMAT suit. |

Am I missing something, or is there no way to remove a skill/skill group once it is purchased?

I will fix some little bug soon and I'll include the version number (actualy 1.0.0). However and unfortunatly I have not both the time and motivation to improve the program... I know that the program is not really good by some aspects, I'm sorry... > Daegann |

It's okay, the program's effin wonderful even with bugs.
What language did you write it in? If you don't have the motivation to work on it any furthur, perhaps you could consider releasing it under limited open-source or accepting volunteers to improve it closed-source? |

I'm not opposed to give the source but in fact I'm shame to say that for this project I worked quickly, with no real conception (just in my head but no UML or something so it's pretty confuse I suppose for others) and almost no annotation... So I'm not proud of my code ^^;; I'll try to correct bug this week-end but I can't promise it... > Daegann |

Daegann, I just want to say "Merci Beaucoup!" I love this program as it is now, and I look forward to any improvements you decide to make. For something that was a labor of love, I don't think you are getting enough credit fo rmaking this for us!
MERCI, MONSIEUR! |

The fact that this is even possible says a lot about the simplification of the system compared to 3d Ed.

i have been adding to this program a bit in the last few days, since i got SM. I am done with magic spells and i am moving to adept powers today. If anyone wants a copy of it or wants to host it when its done (or if Daegann wants to take a look and use it), i would have no problems with it. I never thought adding all those spells would be such a pain in the butt. :cyber:

I'd be extremely interested in seeing that, if you didn't mind. |

i will probably be done with putting in the whole SM book by the end of next week. I just need the adept powers in and magical equipment.
Question: does anyone know what is the availability of the "golems" in SM? |

I finished updating the program to the best of my abilities, though i didn't not put in and ready to buy Vessels (not sure if you can buy one and what the availability would be). If anyone wants it or will to host it, please speak up.

Hmm... I've spent a lot of time looking through it. Even spent some time making characters. The errata needs added in. But, once it's complete, I'll be willing to download it.

I've spoken with the guys at flashbackhumor.com and they've agreed to host it. Once I get the program, I'll send it to them and post a link here as soon as they get it up.
