it's entirely possible to build up upwards of 40 thousand volts by static. the guy must have been walking all day, and not touched anything grounded for a while.

....it's Rayden...at least in my N64 Mortal Kombat Trilogy anyway. :P


It's interesting to note though, that it's also Rayden in the movie as per IMDB.

Yet in the new MK game it's Raiden. Here under the warriors section.
