I am picturing Urban brawl as 2 teams of guys in pads with simple melee weapons crawling through old burnt out sections of cities; trying to get the ball to the other team's goalpost.
I am probobly completely wrong. |

"Killerbowl" with firearms and a bit "Rollerball" as spicing.
I keep to the 1960s originals and chant: Jonathan, Jonathan..... Birdy Killerbowl: Gary K. Wolf Rollerball: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073631/ (Remake's not that bad) |

The source material can be found in Shadowbeat.
Great sourcebook, probably one of the most interesting fluff-books that also provide for making rockstars and sports "storylines". |

But discards the original's message (criticism of "bread & circuses" in a corp-dictatorship) in favor of eye-candy stunts. |

The message is still there. You just have to listen, the last few minutes still have it. But otherwise I agree. Luckily they didn't re-make "Soylent Green". Nothing could beat Heston/Robinson Btw: "Logans Run" can serve as a nice "Arcology" inspiration. Birdy "Eat Soylent! Soylent Yellow, Soylent Red and remember, every Thursday is a Soylent Green day" "We have a runner in section six. A Sandman to section six please" |

I think the adventure Killing Glare also has alot of info about Urban Brawl, mainly since that is what the adventure is about ...
