I got them all. They are very good and I know they took some hours. Very much appreciated.

Found another piece of Seattle Sourcebook Dubious Geography.

The Mitsuhama Towers are at an impossible address, MLK Way and 68th Ave South never cross each other, at least not near the shores of Lake Washington, both run north & south in that part of the city. MLK Way does cross 68th near the Green River in Tukwilla (nearly in the Renton District)

I've usually just put the towers down in Tukwila by the Green river and ignored the Lake Washington flavor text, besides that location puts them in closer proximity to the airport, ports, and train yards all important if you do much importing or exporting (like a Japanacorp would certainly be)

Hm. It worked for me (there doesn't seem to be anything there now). Of course, I also have a yahoo! account, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I can get to the files just fine, it's that five of the ones listed on the second page of the map list are showing as .pdd files which my system doesn't recognize.

what I was hoping to find is a map of the greater seattle area, color coded by security level. Does such an animal exist?

This thread brings back memories. My co-gm back in my high school days whipped up a color-coded by security rating map back in the day, using a copy of the Seattle Sourcebook, a photocopier, and some colored pencils. The worst part was figuring out how much each page had to be enlarged or reduced to get the borders to line up right.

Oh crap, my bad. I accidently put some of the original files in there, i will get the converted pdf files in there.

The scale of each district map is the same, and there is a legend next to each map showing the both miles and kilometers.
The reason I made some of the district maps on two, or three for puyallup is because i wanted the scale to be the same.

The pdf will be there soon.

All the pdf files are now uploaded. All the places and gangs mentioned can be found in New Seattle or The shadowrun supplemental "Downtown"

There are some very sweet maps linked off this thread.

Thanks to all who made them!

Any more creators out there?

I've lived in Seattle 29 years, if you're patient and post questions I'll try to answer as best I can. The previous seattle source books have left out lots of important details, for example the neighborhood the Aztechnology pyramid is in is on top of a fairly tall hill, or the area the Arcology is built in is mostly fill dirt on top of old tide flats (so they most likely have to pump seawater out of the basement). If you want to know about an area ask I'll try to give a good answer, it would be cool if others could do the same for their hometowns.
what most people in Seattle seem to forget to mention is that Seattle has lots of freaking steep hills. You don't get that from a map either. I was out there in april and had a truly wonderful time. It was the best vacation my husband and I have ever had BUT the town is full of freaking steep hills!

That's good to know. Now I can add some gradients to my game. But what I'd really like is the location of the Renraku Arcology. I bought the 3rd Ed. New Seattle expecting some maps of the districts or at least major landmarks. There is one of Downtown but it doesn't have the arcology marked on it.

I made a map using the google maps API some time ago.
It's not that detailed and it's not updated for 4th Edition, but maybe it's worth a look for some of you.

The link is in my sig.

I also found this map on google maps last summer. I want to say someone posted it here, but I cannot remember. There are actually quite a few Shadowrun related maps if you dig around in google maps for a while.

Are the original map creators still around? I should be able to host them on my site instead of y'all having to use Yahoo.
