i think i have seen that page before. but its still interesting :P
the interesting thing about a page like this, is that it shows you dont need millions to create a new solution. i recall reading about someone writing a camera system for monitoring his back yard. it used a webcam with low light ability and some custom code on top of linux. it allowed him to define areas of the image that should not trigger a recording if there was movement and so on to screen out animals messing around in potted plants and similar. he even captured a person breaking in, and the police was able to id the person from that recording. |
