I was wondering if anyone was working on a Character Generator for Macs, and not needing Microsoft Excel? I would be thankfull if anyone could either point me in the right direction, or let me no if none exist.

i want to say that there was, however i just ate and now feel lazy, and don't feel like looking for it for you now. however, i think the best place to look would be in the "announce SR4 programs HERE" thread, i forget if its in this forum or in the Sr4 forum

This works in FireFox, which works on a Mac.

Well until my Firefox one is finished, I heard that the XLS ones work decently under OpenOffice, which is available for mac.

Its not a real chargen, but I am working on an autocalc Open Office Charsheet that should work on PC, Mac, Linux, or Whatever OS youre using. And OOO is free anyways and in my eyes much better than M$ Office :D

People have reported that my Excel spreadsheet does indeed work in Open Office. You can get the sheet here:

I have not personally tested it in other than in Excel 2000, but the sheet uses only very basic functions and only a few lines of custom Visual Basic code (for a floating info display), so it should be pretty platform-independent.'
