I picked up SR4 and love it. I played in a short game that only involved hacking and combat and decided to run my own game. However, it will involve magic, hacking, combat, and just about everything SR has to offer. I'm finding that the rules are heavier then I originally thought and am finding them a bit overwhelming.

I was wondering if anyone had a cheet sheet or something that helps keep everything straight. Or any tips to help obsorb all the rules.

your best bet, honestly, is to simply learn the systems one at a time. do a few sessions with only physical combat, then do a few sessions with little/no combat and lots of Matrix/rigging stuff, then do a few sessions with little of that and lots of magic stuff.

We're doing the ease in to it bit too, gradually adding more stuff (which is really frustrating for me because I'm playing the hacker and the hacking rules seem to be last on the list to integrate) as people get comfortable with the rules. We also have a couple of brand new players so we have to ease them in to the whole idea of gaming.

It's pretty good.

I keep getting an error saying the file is damaged and can't be repaired. Is it up at any other locations?

Thanks. That looks great. Managed to run my first game last night without it and it went fairly smoothly.

I always find it helpful to use a highlighter and mark out particularly important passages, and then use colored tabs stuck on the ends of pages to find things quickly.
