In our Saturday game one of the players is a drone rigger. In the extraction they used a high speed hovercraft to load stolen goods on an island and transport them to the mainland.

On the hovercraft the drone rigger set up 8 smartfiring platforms, 6 dobermans with ingrams, 4 rotodrones with grenade launchers, and a mini-balloon. He used wires to connect nearly everying, and wanted to use a laser transmitter to talk to his drones while they are in range.

Against him was a technomancer (among various other things that have no bearing on the rules).

Are the smartgun platforms on the matrix if their wireless it turned off? The hacker is on the matrix, and the guns are connected to the hacker. Would the technomancer still be able to "see" them via a matrix perception check?

What about the stealth balloon connected via cable? It was covered in a chemeleon suit like covering and wasn't spotted normally. Would a matrix perception see that?

How do I go about "killing" the devices? Hack into the commlink of the rigger? A better way?
