I've always thought that it would be nice to just have a monologue of a setting just to play up the whole "It is the year 2070 and the dream is dead" aspect. What should I read for inspiration? I've already read the Sprawl trilogy, most of Burning Chrome, Snow Crash, and Blade Runner. What else? Are there any really good Shadowrun novels that I could read for ideas of writing?

I really liked the Into The Shadows compilation of short stories, if you can find it.
