Ok a big theme in my upcomeing campaign will be the prostitution rings, with all kinds of sick immoral junk going on.
Now there is a deacent little blurb in sr4 about it, but I would love more thematic, futuristic ideas. One of my players, has this whole Geisha thing in mind(stupid movie). Some sort of corporate high class prostitute deal going on. Due to the obvious asain influence on the game. |

i can't take credit for this idea, but: a corp could make a decent amount of change by rounding up squatters in various derelict properties the corp owns and selling them.

FOr a few quick ideas:
try Sprawl Survival Guide. Gives the basic gist of sexuality in the 60's. Most of what is taboo now if common place then. You will probably still catch crap for de-flowering your dog,and non-consensual is still what is known as a 'felony'. Other than that... sky's the limit. Check out the Underground Source book if you can find it. Has a whole seciton on it. Stuff like Bunraku parlors where the joy boys and girls are on personfix chips to act like whomever you want. Pay enough and they can get the bio-sculpt job to go with it. That'll be easier in the 70's with stuff like nano-paste. The whole AR adds whole new possibilities to 'cybersex'. Ever see that 6th day schwarzenneger flick where the guy has that 'virtual companion'? Those are in the normal equipment section of SR4. Then there's the possibilities that SURGE and awakened sex offer. Ever heard of the entertainment spell? How 'bout the 'orgasm' spell? ;) |

I ripped of a scene from dead or Alive, where the runners had to contact a YAk pornographer, and he was taking picture of a woman and a dog, heck he even asked one of the runners to help get the dog going.
I have been called distastefule for doing an edventure about kidnappings and fetus farmers but al they did was laugh at the situation. |

Fetus farming is detailed in Underworld. I ran that story last year, and absolutely horrified my players (especially one of them, a Biology professor). They now have a shoot-ghouls-on-sight policy.

I can realy recomandate that for getting some creepy ideas, Tamanous & Halberstam (from Threats 1) make for a good pair of bussiness associates. @Hackers Way back in SR2 I had a Decker-NPC (forgot his name), with a reality filter and a "Little naked man with gigantic ***"-persona. Oh yes, "Noodle" was his name, guess what his iconography for datatransfer looked (and tasted) like :P @SURGE There is a nice interview with a porn-starlet cum cat-like super sex-icon in YOTC. @p-fixes & PCs Y´know what you can do to them (thoug some players do not take that lightly) @AR/Sim "Strange days" might get you some inspiration, as well as some Sim-Wiz NPC in the good old Prime Runners sb (Giancarlo Bagio or something like that) @Sprawl Survival Guide I like that book. Will give You a good many inspirations (some spirit-prostitution anyone ;) , or what about sprites?). @Going to space? There is a short description of prostitution up there, which is more like a hobby for some indipendants in this very small community, might allso work that way in other enclosed corp-enclaves. @AR-Personas You can pritty much do everything with this, nobody will get you arrested for raping a programmed VR-(everything you dare to imagin)... Edit: ARGH.. winterhawk is right, how could I forget :S guess thats what happens, when you spend too much time learning for university and too little time for rpg :dead: |
