Fantastic work, Squinky. Time to add the next of my old characters to the growing list of masterpieces.

Valiant ~ Val Hammersmith. My 2nd ed Rigger. Caucasian human female, about 5'6". Red streaked black hair, waist length, shaved to the earline long on top to accomodate the VCR rig in the back of her head and the datajack by her left ear. Her left arm and leg are obvious cyberlimbs, as is her right forearm. Her left eye is also an obvious cyber, blank silver. There is a large scar down the left of her face, a jagged cut from her forehead down across her eye to her cheek. Her left cyberarm contains a remote control deck and signal booster. She habitually carries an Ares Slivergun, and wears armoured clothing, usually obviously armoured clothing. She is rarely far from her beloved drones, and usually has at the very least a Steel Lynx with a pair of Vindicators parked nearby, usually with a Ruthenium blanket covering it, but sometimes without. :D

Perhaps a workshop picture, with her doing maintenance on a combat drone?

Nope, Haven't corresponded with him at all. Bummer.

I haven't started on that yet, and I may take my time on it as it will take a good bit more effort than the others :)

Just finished up some Missions stuff so will try to get some stuff up here in the next few days.

I can draw you anything you want, but as far as getting it into the avatar section (which I'm pretty sure is closed to all us normal people) I got nothing (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

You really should have done this all privately in he first place. Now, if the Moderators do let you slip an Avatar in, then everyone will know, and bombard them with their own requests for a 'personal' Avatar as well. I'm afraid that you might have put them in kind of a tough position.

As I said in another thread, even with my post count (biggest except for certain artificially-inflated ones which shall remain nameless (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ), I don't have the option to change my title. I do believe that it is still reserved for those that gave in the donation drive.

....Apologies, I'll just wait until (if and when) the option becomes publicly available then. Just hate going "faceless" & nothing available comes within a 20 megaton warhed's blast radius of fitting. Anyway it would no doubt have still caused a stir even if I had gone the straight PM route for someone would eventually go looking for it in the Avatar galleries and not find it.

As to the font, well we all have our likes & dislikes. I still think it was better than this one. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grinbig.gif)

It's cool. I'm not looking for, nor is there any need for apologies. I was merely butting my nose in, in an attempt to head off what I thought might be an awkward situation. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

As for the titles, I just saw in the other thread that it was a temporary thing while Redjack was playing around ... but it might be made available in some capacity at a later date.

In regards to the fonts, I know it is your prerogative to use them. It's just that it sometimes gives me a headache switching back and forth between the many varied fonts available. My problem, I know, but I am still allowed to bitch! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Thanks for clarification on the custom title front. I understand that the days of Donations are pretty much long gone and I am not really much adept at coding so even that contribution route is moot.

No prob on the Avatar Issue. Just testing the "new waters" so to say.

EDIT: Actually, teeny nitpick while it is still in the sketch stage - would it be possible to eyes a little bigger, or...maybe a little wider top to bottom? For the 'I look like a twelve-year-old' look - I think it's just the eyes throwing me a little there. If it's going to be a hassle, don't worry about it, I still really like it ^^ The clothes and the piles of gear are totally spot-on.

Well, she's actually eighteen - just has the facial features and height of someone several years younger. The hyperactive personality doesn't help XD;

...that was kind of my demolitionist Leela's make up as well. When I started her she was 18, but due to trauma of seeing her family killed during hte Serb Invasion of Zagreb (& being badly wounded herself) she not only had the appearance but also the personality of a 12 - 13 year old even though she was a genius in both science and music. Having come from a family renowned for putting on pyrotechnics displays, she became extremely interested in and adept at using explosives while she was a member of the Croat resistance.

Made for some interesting roleplay as she had a childlike outlook on the world which all too often cut right through to the heart of the matter at hand.
