Nothing like the run where the PCs get to scavange some 60 year old prototype based on a 110 year old design so that (insert corp here) can remake the design with neater superconductors and a nuke-plant behind the magnet.

then we find out all the theorys were void because the designs were based off a 6th plane that didn't exists at the correct levels (magic), and now only exist on earth....
