Events Announcement
Thurs, Feb 18th 1pm SRM 02-12 Winter Wonderland Mr. Johnson lost cargo high in the mountains. He wants you to go in, schmooze the snow bunnies, dare the expert runs, and watch out for snow snakes. Oh and bring the cargo back. It's not just a job it's a vacation. 7pm SRM 02-13: Take Out Service There is always a price to be paid when organizations grow and expand and no one wants to be left holding the check. Blackmail and kidnapping, of course, are acceptable ways to convince someone else to pay the tab... Fri, Feb 19th 1pm SRM 02-14: Wetwork, Pure and Simple When you run in the shadows, a day where you aren't working is a day were you aren't getting paid. Sometimes survival means taking whatever run comes your way. When the choice is between wetwork and not eating, it isn't much of a choice. 7pm SRM 02-15: Critical Care DocWagon patients are going missing. No way it could be your fault, right? Maybe you should check into it, just in case. Sat, Feb 20th 1pm SRM 02-16: Primal Forces When precious resources are in transit in Denver, it's difficult for the various factions to stay idle. When nearly every faction has a reason to try to get them, many decisions are left to the runners about their allegiances. 7pm SRM 02-17: Patient Zero Wheels within wheels. An unexpected Johnson leads to a messy situation. Who’s pulling whose strings? You’ll need to answer that before the Yakuza lose their patience. @ Total Confusion Holiday Inn 31 Hampshire St Mansfield, Ma. 02048 |

For sometime I have had a thought concerning this thread.
This thread lists information on when people are running Shadowrun Missions as official events at various locations around the world so players know when and where to go to play in them. No post in this thread actually gives out information on the game it's self just where to play. So question: Is there a reason this thread is longer than one page? I mean sure I can come in and see when either myself or others have run games and where they were run over the years but that seems to me to be useless in the long run. So why not just delete old posts say anything older than what 3 or 4 months? Just a thought I figure if it was shorter it be eaiser for the players to find where the current games are running. |

Shadowrun Missions in Omaha/Bellevue NE USA
Due to both new players coming in and some schedule conflicts for existing players we will be setting up a couple opportunities to play shadowrun this month. On Sunday the 11th starting at 4:30PM I will be running SRM00 Everyone's your friend down at the Game Shoppe in Bellevue. This is the introductory mission for the SRM Manhattan campaign so I encourage folks to come out and give it a try. On Sunday the 18th I will be running SRM02 Block War the next in the series at the same time and place. As always I will be there as early as possible to answer questions and help where I can and I will have pregens available for those who want them. For those who wish to create their own character you may do so with the standard rules in the books and following the prohibition within the Missions FAQ found here: http://www.shadowrun4.com/wordpress/wp-con...vised2009\ 04.pdf Some words of advisement. The pregens I provide are straight out of the book some of them are actually pretty fair, some of them are deliberately sub-optimal and rather one dimensional. They should be viable but to make sure your character can do what you want them to do I advise you to make your own. However I request you have your character done or at least started when you arrive as SR character generation takes a bit and I have limited time to help folks as I am the worlds worst character creator. The module however must start promptly at 4:30 if your character is ready or not. Now having said that you are completely able to remake your character between the first and second module with no penalty so playing a pregen to get a taste for things and then switching is sometimes a good idea. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. |

Hello all, here is the tentative schedule for missions this month at the Game Shoppe in Bellevue NE. We're doing a couple repeats so folks that didn't have a chance the first time can take another crack at getting these missions in. I also hope to bring in a guest GM from the first batch so that I might play some of the modules I've eaten.
Sunday the 9th: Mothers Day, no game. Sunday the 16th(Repeat) Block War!: I should have three for this if John is still good, four including myself if I can get Justin or someone else to GM. Sunday the 23rd:(Repeat) Burning Bridges: A sizable group of folks missed this one and I myself would like to play so I anticipate a fairly full table. Sunday the 30th:(New!) Monkeywrench! This months new mission, although some of you that came to Nukecon may have already played this one. Still it should be fun regardless. All missions start promptly at 4:30PM. If you have any questions feel free to message me and by all means new players are welcome. |

"It could be the solution to the problem of world hunger. Or it could just solve the problem of a few people having far less nuyen than they want.
There's a new breakthrough in food science, a plant that can grow rapidly in almost any climate and could solve food shortages across the globe. It could be the breakthrough of the century, which means it's worth an awful lot to some of the Sixth World's powers. Mr. Johnson's about to drag you into this mess--it's up to you to see what you can get out of the whole thing. And survive, of course. Appetite for Vengeance is a new scenario that will give players fun wile also giving them a chance help out a local food bank. A canned food donation gets you in the game; additional donations let you re-spend already spent Edge points during the run. This holiday season, pull a run to help you those in need! For more details, check out www.catalystdemos.com and www.shadowrun4.com." I will be running this Saturday November 13th at Sci-Fi City In Orlando, Florida Starting at 10 am and running it as often as I can through out the day until Sci-Fi City closes at 9 pm. I would like to run the SR-4 missions, starting with "Body Electric," for my local game store; is there somewhere I should sign up, or can I just download them, print them (or perhaps order print copies from Catalyst)?
Just for anyone who's interested when I find out about this, this is in Danvers, Massachusetts, time and days to be determined by how much interest I can gather. |
