I wish it could zoom better so I can pick the dots easier but other then that, great job on what you did, its been really helpful.

Its been a great for our players and has helped them get a better idea of what our GM has been trying to describe to them during game play.

So good job and thanks =)

Many thanks for your feedback. :)
For deeper zoom levels you have to switch to the other views for now, but I'll work on it some more when I have some time on my hands.

Minor update. I added a new zoom level to the Borders View, which is a bit more detailed (duh).
I hope you like it.

Edit: You think I should keep up the work, or do you think it's not worth the effort?

Oh, it's most definitely worth the effort. It may end up being that it becomes a team effort due to size & scope, but still worth the effort.

If there is anything I can do to help add to this, please let us know. I'm sure there are several people on the boards who would be willing to jump in.

Thanks for the feedback.
Also, thanks for the offer, I'll get back to you if I need anything.
For now, I have added yet another level of zoom.
Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the feedback and the kind words. Fuels my motivation to keep doing this. I'll try to make this as useful as possible.
As you may have noticed I added some major Gangs to the map, along with more locations. More than 200 now... yay! I also color-coded the locations to make identification a bit easier.
Red is for bars, nightclubs and restaurants,
Teal is for hotels,
Purplish blue is for business stuff like corps and such,
Pink is for government buildings,
Green for medical facilities,
And the dark brownish ones are for general attractions and other miscellaneous stuff.

Ok, right now there are 322 locations in there, plus the basic gang stuff.
There aren't many canon locations left, maybe 10 or 20 or so.
I'm taking a break for now, but I appreciate any suggestions for improvement.

That is really really awesome .... is there anything that tells us what source book refers to that point? Is it colour coded somehow? I cannot find the legend.

The legend for the colors is 3 posts above this one.
Sourcebooks used are the original Seattle Sourcebook with some changes from New Seattle added.

@Paul: Good idea... Maybe I should let the user choose what to display... canon stuff or community stuff or both... the script gets a bit heavy with so many locations, but I'll look into it. I just need a break right now. Maybe Runner Havens will have some changes for me to include, too...
@Platinum: No problem. I'll try to include a legend of some sort in the future.

Yeah we wrote up like 100 plus locations. Feel free to add them, at your leisure. I think this is a pretty damn cool idea, and I have to say I am thankful you did all of the hard work on this-I couldn't, as I don't have the skill. But I'll admire your work and spread word of it.

Minor update: I used a frame to add a legend to the map along with the options to hide location and/or gang info. Also, the canon location count is at 334 now.
I'm still looking into adding the TSS locations as an option, but many addresses of the TSS locations are a bit... uhm... difficult to track down.
