Basically, Patrick is calling Miron to make sure he got the wire transfer, and to check if the safehouse is already good to go... or if they have to wait for him (or some third party) to let them in.

Yeah, so I know you were going for the non-chalant thing - but A-in's not so good at that. I'm pretty sure, even if he's not looking directly at him, that the figure can see A-in's paintball gun, and see it pointed in his direction. :-)

Also, if the figure suddenly goes to leave, I have half a mind to take my shot - so, give me a head's up. Otherwise I'll let him approach enough that we can get a good look at him and maybe recognise him, or maybe discover his intentions.

Yeah, at least, most of us said that we were making our commlink's active/passive so the other's could get it, and were recording their IDs as well.

And yes, A-in and Patrick said they would secure a safehouse first, and then we'd regroup there to do some planning (rather than chat about it in front of the Johnson).

It's all team assimilation pains. ICly Chiller presumes that everyone knows what they are doing, which has been borne out so far. Solid front to the Johnson, everyone deciding not to intervene with the gangers, keeping quiet until we have a safe place to meet and bare all our truths to each other. Also ICly, Chiller figures if the up front expenses disappear and anyone bails or stands the others up, now is the time to find out, as well as figuring that if we need to, Mr Carver at least knows how and where everyone can be contacted and tracked down.

I also suspect Patrick thinks he can talk himself out of any trouble, and A-in is just going with the flow without realizing the consequences yet. Which is kind of fun to watch.

Yea, I also noticed that ;)

All in all, Patrick is going to give the safehouse a quick once over, then mass message the whole team with the adresse of the safehouse and the encrypted key for the door.

He'll also make a quick note that they have enough place to hold 3 cars, and that if they need, they can bring whatever gear they want (the place is discreet enough), but that security isn't all that sharp... yet.
