I'm eventually going to assense the other runners, but that's a lot of work to put on everyone this early on ;) I assure you it's for medical reasons. And stuff.

It'd be easier to do thoughts if we all put forth a character description/pic either ICly or OOCly. Mine is a few posts up.

I wasn't sure if the static (jammer?) would have cut off A-in's technomancer link to the matrix or not. His Comm is probably useless if the rating of the jammer is anythign worth buying, but his ECCM complex form should give him a signal strength of 2 even with a rating 6 head-jammer strapped to his forehead. AFAIK, signal strength 1 means you can access nearby Matrix accesspoints and get online.

So I poseted accordingly. Let me know if I messed up and I'll edit/remove.

Physical Description: A-in looks to be in his late teens. Fresh-meat, that's for sure. He seems awkward and out of place at this meet, and is dressed a semi-formal white button-down shirt and black pants. His hair is black, but it seems to have a sort of 'unnatural' sheen to it, like it was recently died. I also believe he was lead in first, meaning he was sitting in an awkward sort of silence with the elf and Johnson when the next person came in.

He doesn't seem to have any gear on him - except a little renraku sensei in his shirt pocket, and some glasses which he is wearing. (Perceptive characters can go ahead and notice the earbuds in his ears, but it won't mean much).

A-In
Oops, I was hoping that was clear. There isn't a jammer running, but WiFi inhibiting paint (Rtg 3). Basically, all of your wireless stuff will still work within the room, but your connection to the Matrix (and your commlink's) will be severed. I assumed you would begin using your ECCM complex form, but didn't want to say that explicitly in case that's not what you wanted to do. Of course, with the ECCM you won't have any trouble reconnecting your living persona with the real Matrix.

Everyone
Yeah, good idea TinkerGnome, if you haven't already do post a short physical description (clothing, appearance, amount of obvious cyber, things easily visible on you)

Acutally, I'm not sure I can turn the ECCM off. ;-) But yeah, the use of "static" threw me off, since I thought that would be "noise" or jamming signals... if it was a "silence" or something on the matrix, I would have thought wifi inhibiting paint. I'll adjust appropriatly.

As for a physical description, Patrick looks.... average. Everything about him is: shot cropped brown hair, brown eyes, no apparant scars, moles, freckles or tatoos. Not even any cyberware. He's of average heigh, and average build: not tall, not short, not skinny, not fat. Quite frankly, he could be anyone anyone knows.

Even his origin or age are hard to define: he's caucasian, with a very subtle tan. Maybe european? Russian? Irish? Italian? German? French? English? Difficult to say.

(Well, he does have the "blandness" quality so... he's rather hard to describe. If you need to get a mental picture of how he acts, speaks, looks and behave... think of Nicolas Cage's character, Yuri Orlov, in Lord of War)

Clothing wise, everything about the man Patrick is currently "being" screams italian: mannerism, speech, and particularly clothes. His short brown hair is slicked back, and his face is freshly shaven. He's also wearing a pair of silver rimmed glasses.

Josie looks like he'd fit in more at a construction site than in a boardroom. He wears steel-toed work boots, stainproof jeans, thermal shirt, and a dark grey armored jacket. Two small pouches hang from his belt, neither of which seems large enough to be a gun. He doesn't have any tusks, but his two horns bend steeply backward.

Chiller is a very dark skinned Tusker with short hair, dark eyes and shiny white teeth, except for one or two missing or chipped teeth which have been replaced with clear enamel. When he smiles, some of the teeth appear veined in ice, or to be made entirely of ice. One tusk appears marbled in ice. Only slightly taller then average tusker height, just a little over two meters tall, he's obviously fit and trim, but not overly muscled for an ork. There is a discrete datajack port behind his right ear, but you are more likely to notice he wears an earbud in his right ear first. Almost always he's dressed in a retro classic black slacks, black suit jacket, white shirt, thin black tie (tear away!), and rubber soled dress shoes. He does not wear glasses.

Mr. Scorpion was originally my City of Villains character, so the easiest way to describe him is to just show you some pictures (sorry about the low quality, but I don't have a great video card):

Mr. Scorpion

Mr. Scorpion Close-up

He's tall and thin, wearing a crisp black suit, black shirt underneath, and a white tie that matches the color of this spiked back hair. He's very pale, and has some vaguely asian facial features, although it's hard to tell behind his mirrored sunglasses that completely hide his eyes. He also wears black leather gloves that usually have faint white lines running across them, although for this meet he's wearing plain leather gloves. The most unusual thing about his appearance is despite the nice, clean, black suit he has, he's wearing sturdy and heavy brown shoes rather than black dress shoes like you'd expect.

That's a good idea. The original description I wrote up for A-in was a bit cooler, but since he's supposed to "be professional" he opted not to stick out like a neon sign. =)

Wow, impressive. The GM is way to lazy to do that much work...haha.

Everyone
I'll give you a chance to storm out of the meeting if you want to, quickly followed by your character's untimely demise from a falling car. Heh...anyways, you can ask questions at this point, and Carver will go on with the rest of the spiel when I post again tonight probably.

Indeed, it doesn't happen often. Heh...

LOL at using edge during the Johnson negotiation. Classic. Anyways, at least it was effective.

OOC: I think it makes sense for Patrick (purchasing savvy) and A-in (Has the expenses cred) to arrange a safe place to conduct planning and contact the rest of the team to meet there?

Other note, I redid my website yet again. Now it should actually, you know, work in IE.
