Yes, you CAN have sex with your Ally spirit, if she's dikoted

You're missing a few other requirements from that equation.

Unless SR4 lowered the bar of course, I hadn't tracked down the Sex With Ally Spirits (Dikoted and Other) chapter yet. :D

QUOTE (SR4 p.73)
Also, characters can not have more then one attribut at thair natural maximum.

You can´t have more than one Attribute at maximum, so uncybered characters without burn-out level addiction can´t have any attribut maxed out other then essence (EDIT), ever (END OF EDIT)!

QUOTE
Cyberlimbs cannot hold any bioware, nor any cyberimplants
that take up Essence rather than Capacity.

Player (Troll street sam with 2 replacement arms): Ok we've made it into the delta clinic and so I'm going to "acquire" some future assets. I pick up those 2 delta grade troll arms in the cabinet (smashes glass) and lets get out of here.

GM: so how do you pick the replacement arms up with your legs?

QUOTE

Each of a character’s cyberlimbs gives her 1 extra damage
box on her Physical Condition Monitor.

Same player after friendly mage loads 24 pairs of replacement arms and legs into a conveniently placed trolley: OK we leave.

GM: The cleverly concealed sentry gun pops up and sprays you with automatic fire.

Player: Ok after dodges, resisting the damage and a bit of a dust off I keep walking.

GM but I just did 15 boxes of damage you don't have that many boxes.

Player: Yes I do these cyberlimbs were stolen by me and so I consider them mine hence I get 28 extra boxes on my condition monitor. It doesn't say I have to have them installed in fact it doesn't even say I have to have them on me so these limbs are all going in a box under my bed and I will walk around feeling rather better :)

admittedly with this one you aren't going to be doing much after 15 boxes but you can at least still run away very effectively and can then casually sit around and heal rather than having to get medical/magical help!

QUOTE (p. 152-3)
Characters who take damage may be knocked down by the attack.
...
Gel rounds reduce the body of a character by 2 when comparing it to the DV to determine knockdown.

All characters who take damage must check for knockdown. Every time a character checks for knockdown from gel rounds, reduce his Body by 2. Most humans can be paralyzed by 2-3 shots from a weapon loaded with gel rounds, regardless of the size of their damage tracks.

QUOTE (p. 62)
Whatever path the player chooses for her character, it is for life. There is no going back.

During the character creation process, the player must map out the character's movements from birth to death, as well as deciding whether the character is a walker or a runner. Backward movement is strictly disallowed, as is revisiting any location.

QUOTE (p. 308)
HK XM30: This award-winning modular "weapons platform" can turn a single soldier into a one-man army.

When the XM30 is fired by a male soldier, one of two things happen.

A) It immediately creates a number of clones of him equal to the number of personnel employed by the standing army to which he belongs.

or

B) Every other member of the same army as the firer is immediately killed, making him the sole living member of his military.

Fortunately, the XM30 has been fired exactly twice.

You almost, but not quite, mentioned one more option.

"When the XM30 is fired by a female soldier, she immediately turns male. Then options A or B can occur."

Wired Reflexes: This highly invasive operation implants a multitude of neural boosters and adrenalin stimulators in strategic locations all over the body, catapulting the patient into a whole new world where everything around her seems to move in slow motion.

After implanting wired reflexes, the character finds himself catapulted to a world populated by civil servants and plumbers.

This sounds like a Far Side caption. "For reasons that would soon become apparent, the Street Doc's main tool of the trade was siege weaponry."

The synaptic accelerator trebuchets you into a whole new world.

"Finally, no piece of gear purchased at character creation can have a rating higher than 6 or an Availability higher than 12 (for more information, see Availability & Buying Gear, p. 301)." (p. 84)

Therefore characters cannot purchase gear with a Cost higher than 6 nuyen.  (Not to mention Ammo and Damage Value ratings.)

I'm really confounded on how you can confuse 'rating' with cost value, ammo and damage value.... [edit] Sorry but I just don't get your joke...

SL - Just think about the implications for trying to perform a hit on the guy who builds custom cyberlimbs in his own shop!

He could probably Detonate a nuke in his pants and walk away unharmed.

Thats why you can´t kill the mayor shareholders of corps that produce or trade in cyberlimbs! :D

If only Art Dankwalther had known this, he might well have survived ;)

Wait, who´s saying he didn´t

Detonating a Nuclear Device in City Limits is a 50,000 :nuyen: fine.

Public Indecency is a felony that carries a 7yr prison term, and a mandatory "Palm to Ankle" flesh-bonding.

Pg. 80

Will to Live
Cost: 5 per rating

If you do not buy this quality, your character has no will to live. They generally sit around their apartment all day, waiting to die.

Also on pg. 80.

Resistence to Pathogens/Toxins
Cost: 5 or 10 BP

Without this quality you have no resistence to pathogens or toxins. Your character immediately gets sick and dies.

Page 117 - Using perception
"Unless a character takes an Observe in Detail Simple Action to percieve, she is considered distracted by whatever task is at hand (suffering a -2 dice pool)"

Therefore any action not immediatly proceeded by an Observe in Detail Simple Action is at -2 due to the character being distracted.

Holding you breath is deadly ..

Page 119
QUOTE
A typical character can hold her breath for 48 seconds (8 turns).  A character who wants to hold her breath longer makes a swimming + willpower test.  Each net hit increases the length of time the character can hold their breath by one combat turn.  After that point, the character takes one box of stun damage at the end of each combat turn.  This damage cannot be resisted.  Once all Stun boxes are filled the character passes out and her lungs attempt to fill with air again.  The character will continue to take physical damage at the same rate (1 box per combat turn) until dead or rescued.

So basically once you hold your breath you are dead .... Regardless of what your lungs fill with once you go unconscious, the character will continue to take physical dmaage .......

Peace

I've been reading over the SR4 sourcebook.

QUOTE
SR4, p.159  Vehicle combat - "Unless the purpose of the vehicle test was to avoid crashing, the driver manages to pull away in time and make another attempt."

A driver is allowed to retry any non-crash vehicle test, regardless of the circumstances of that test, until he succeeds.

QUOTE
Tactical vehicle combat (p. 160) - "Drivers must spend at least one Complex Action each turn driving their vehicle, or the vehicle goes out of control at the end of the Combat Turn.  Apply a -2 dice pool modifier to all actions by characters in an uncontrolled vehicle.

When a vehicle is not moving, the driver must continue to spend complex actions to control it or all players suffer a -2 dice pool modifier. (Presumably, as soon as the driver leaves the front seat or begins expending regular complex actions again, the modifier disappears.)

As an aside, reading the vehicle rules, it would appear to me we can finally defeat tanks with katanas. Sw337!
