well... my character does already have a feng shui knowledge skill, as well as Tai Chi, and speaks a good smattering of languages. 750 karma in languages.... I don't know if I could find that many languages! So..... I'll just .... raise my negotiations , and talk you in to letting me intitiate. It's a good idea... yes it is... you like the idea.

I mean, who can argue not having You spend the rest of the karma on magic/initiation when You´ve got Charisma and Social skills maxed out? Nobody can!

After all, isn´t magic all about "spelling" :grinbig:

I used the Crater Lake "EVENT" as a Game Mastering Tool. One of the Player was commenting on how much he would have liked his elf character to be a Physical (Somatic) Adept rather than Street Samurai.

So I took inspiration from the Shadowrun Novel "Nosferatu" and then created an Adventure to place the Character in the area when the event happened. While scouting he stumbled into a Fairy (Meta Planar Gateway) Circle, where Faire Creatures (Spirits) Danced in the circle to music that made him want to dance too. One of the Faire (an anima free spirit) invited him to join her.

He danced the Day and Night away, never tiring and yet he felt the drain on him, but he kept dancing (Note Players choice), As he danced his body covered in a silver sheen and realized too late that his Cybernetic Implants were being cleansed from his body. :cyber:

At some point he awakens, it is dawn and he is surprised to find himself alone in the fairy circle. He is exhausted and everything hurts. His vision clears and he tries to activate his " :cyber: " Commlink, but nothing happens.

He sees a ghostly image and tries to focus on it. The world shifts and he sees the world as if made of mist. Every living thing has a glow and colour he finds soothing. He also sees the woman from the night before standing at the edge of the circle. She is smiling and he is confused by the double images he sees.

Before he can say anything she gestures him to follow. He does and his vision returns to normal. He hears the sounds of men in armour moving through the forest, and runs after her.He moves faster than he thought possible, he smiles realizing it was not a dream.

He wanted to play his character, but with Adept Powers instead of Cyberware. He was a Sniper/Gunslinger and all about speed so he ended up with Increased Refelxes 2 and Enhanced Skill 6 (Pistols).

Nasty and dangerous.
