Sorry for holding all of you guys up.

At first glance, Sander isn't an impressive man. He has rather european features, very regular brow eyes, and short brown hair in style with the latest corporate fashion. As a matter of fact, Sander looks more like a corporate suit than anything else. Depending on the flavor of the month, he might have a mustache, a beard or a clean shave. Currently, he has a neatly trimmed beard. Concerning his heigh and build, he is once again rather difficult to classify. Average in every aspect. Because he does not posses any striking features, Sander can easily become anyone and anything.

Sander favors business suits and attire to anything else. His shirts are always crisp white, his tie always impecably knotted, his suits never with a wrinkle. Quite simply; he looks like a rather affluent and comfortable person. Someone who would be used to fine drinks, fine food and fine women.

Casing denim,

I give it and the area the once over before I go in. I am not sure how far denim is from where I live in the rough unwired neighbourhood, but assume that I arrived there at a fairly sedate walking pace, unless it's over 2 hours walk, in which case I bus part of the way.

Perception outside Denim, scoping the place and surroundings for anything off.

I never said that it would get you shot I said it would be noticable. The weird shit gets noticed to it is far from universal. Plus people don't wear goggles, man, the price on glasses or contacts with image links sees to that. If you walk down the street looking odd people look at you that simple.

Okay, peeps just a warning you'll get to denim in the order you post arriving and ordering your drink (or whatever else I told you to do). Give people a little to catch up.
People who are there sorry to stop you talking but the barman has a set responce and I want to leave till everyones ready. Just make like Mr J has asked you to sit quietly. Should be tomorrow evenning when everyone is caught up.

In the mean time the music is great, and your not all drinking cranberry juice cocktails.

Oh and for a map of Denver download the commando news letter off CommandoHQ linked via www.srrpg.com, latest issue has the denver map in it.

Most of those are to my mind goggles, you get bulkier size and funny looks, as well as mne not kicking you about all the shit added in. I mostly wish the eyewear had capacity rules... Basically all i ask is either wear goggles or be reasonable about what you put in them (NO ultrasound contacts!!!!). No sweat. You just won't be that anonymous.

Actually yours sound like odd glasses, with a lot of stuff in them. The swimming google effect is far from important to me.

I can live with the odd odd look, people look at the goggles not the face behind it, so taking them off can be quite the change. I just don't see it being the sort of thing that kids would point out to their mums...

To be honest ultrasound contacts are not unfeasable, so long as you do not have the ultrasound emitter in the actual contacts 8). Shove the emitter under your bottom lip, or perhaps in a tooth compartment for the front teeth and a mike under a flesh couloured slap patch on your forehead, for the parralax, and there is no reason not to be able to extrapolate a 3d image for the contacts to view from that info.

So, Sander will drive to the meet and arrive there at least an hour in advance. He'll grab table and sample some the establishment's food and drinks ;)

He'll cross to the Pueblo sector from the CAS sector, using his Pueblo ID. As for the gear he'll be carrying:

So, should we just jump to the evening then?

Also, is there any problem carrying weapons when crossing the sector borders?

I suppose not, as long as you got a permit for them, but otherwise?

How tight is security there, are people checked regularily?

Border hoipping can be a risk, particularly with weapons. However pick your time right and it goes fairly smooth. I'm allowing people to go thru this time no hassle, but this is yopu last free ride. Usually you need to make a cha+etiquette+fake SIN rating check against a threshold of 3, to get thru smoothly. Failure means you have to bribe your way past, glitching gets some (illegal) gear confiscated and critical glitches are bad. If people cross borders in game when it's relevance light(ie heading to meet rather than a part of the run) just make the test post and say you got thru clean or payed a bribe (about 300 :nuyen: per sucess you missed).

Yeah move to the evening, as I would like to get things moving.

Denim security will let you in with a pistol, as long as it's hidden. Armed Shadowrunner clientelle really discourages hold ups. ;)

:D

But let me second the above question... is that just to get past with illegal gear?

What if you have permits for your weapons?

Or will the border guards somtimes simply make trouble because they are bored or whatnot?

Its for any border crossing with fake ID.
Yeah the guards will just hassle for shits an giggles.
Permitted equip won't be take, basically the test is for walking thru with out getting a Q+A session with the guards, threshold will be altered depending on timing, you hit rush hour and the threshold is 1 or 2, middle of a quiet rainy night it goes up to 4. If you don't like the risk work out other border crossing tricks...

I reckon that as I walked straight there from me squat soon as the message arrived, I probably arrived first, by about 5 hours, drek up with the timing. :P

As such I will be unabashedly chatting up the barmaids and making friends with the barkeep, before getting myself a seat near the bar, and listening for people asking for sea breezes with umbrellas. For fun I try to figure out exactly how many other illicity deals would be going through today,

The 6'10 Ork Cyberbunny ordering a double taboo and coke with extra ice was probably one...

Soon I get bored of that minor diversion and then I settle in to chilling out and minding my own business.
