Well, "S&k" isn't explained much in the IC thread... and the ooc thread I don't have that much time for reading through.
But I'm sure someone will explain. In little words for the little person. |

S&K = shooting and killing... and actually we have only been through one firefight together OOC... so we don't have the procedures defined amongst us. IC the characters are all gelled and used to how Dakota ran the team.
If you like you can have Knocker have read Dakota's after-action reports and riff off of that based on how Knocker likes to work within a team. OOC, we can brainstorm about what we think is best. - Cirio, you have drones? Anyone else? Charlotte doesn't have any. - Who's got astral surveillance covered? Rather - who's the volunteer to keep an eye out Astrally - Charlotte can, but her knowledges don't support identifying astral bogeys. - What is the first order of business when things go hot in: A. Close quarters, melee combat B. Ranged combat C. Mixed combat D. Heavy magic E. Magic supressed F. Ordinance G. Spirits - We should probably match casters up with mundanes/adepts for Counterspelling. Buddy up as appropriate, if there's an odd man out the person with the best inherent spell resist traits (or the MR Quality) should be that person... that's WIL and BOD yes? Charlotte has WIL 4 and BOD 6. Other stuff? |

Ah, well, all of that stuff... easy enough, but of course if someone would kindly start it off IC we can have some fun with it!

Yes, Cirio has several drones, and some hacking skills. Don't put him in a firefight, though. :)

Keeping the ball rolling in the IC.
No drones here. Astral surveillance depends on the bogey--but can be divided between Whizbang and I. For assensing a target, Sparky, you are probably going to be the best. I can hold my own in Magic support and ranged combat. Spirits will fall on Whizbang, as I haven't gotten around to that yet. Mickey is going to be best out of combat when talking to people and getting information or getting past guards without violence. |

Knocker has an iBall and a Renraku Stormcloud. Stormcloud might be useful if she gets kicked out the chopper. |

Yi is the melee specialist with light ranged skills (shurikens and poison). Pretty atheltic and her skills focus more on the uderworld side of things.

I'm right in thinking the foundation has good files for everyone, and we have access to the basics for each other?
Knocker is probably best described as the heavy weapon element of a small infantry team. In a three or four person team she'd be the one with the big gun. |

So, obviously I've been a bit quiet, but you guys seem so involved with what's going on... ;)
So, just checking, do people want me to jump in, or are you planning on running the little combat sim thing? I don't mind, I'm fine either way, I just want to make sure I'm not needed XD |

So what is the the plan once we land? I know we need to find the mask but do we know how we're going about that exactly?

I think the first order of business is to set-up a base of operations.
Have we figured out: a) Yolandra's part, b) the disposition of the CorpWars sites, c) whether we were going to start at the old site of Timbuktou and scan, d) what the hell Knocker is saying |

Good outline and I like the ready to go angle, being an action junkie I am all for being shot and hitting people to achieve our goals.
Let's get the simulation done and covered so we can get back to the main action of the run. Lead us on DireRadiant! |

Ok we're here so I think this is the player driven portion of the run and Fenris is waiting in the wings to react/fill in as needed.

Languge is a pigeon of French and Bambara. If you speak French, you can communicate, but with a -1 dice pool penalty. If you speak Bambara you're fine. Any other local African dialect (spoken somewhere nearby) will get you speech but with a -1 dice pool penalty.
I'll need specifics on how you're setting up a base camp, what you're doing with the plane, and the next step, as well as responding (however you're going to) to the NPC. This game will live! :vegm: |

That's....not my concern ;D
No no no, j/k. While I won't save the group from itself, I also don't get to enjoy my game and my plotlines and my NPC's if the game isn't actually continuing. I take no joy in killing off characters. |

Visual Perception
05 04 04 04 03 03 03 01 01 Lame-tastic!! So I'm basically looking through the astral for obvious astral presences, with the roll above I doubt i'm getting much more than that. |
