In some books weapons like the TMP Submachine Gun only a BF\FA as firing modes. The damage for the weapon is listed as 6M. Now does it do 6M in burst fire mode or is it staged up to 9S?

Staged up. The 6M is showing what a single bullet would do.
[e] I suppose you'd like more than my word, eh? In the section describing Burst Fire, it talks about Short Bursts. IIRC, it says that a single bullet short burst does the weapon's base damage. |

plus it has the option for full autofire; it's not hard to hit a person with only a single bullet (say, with suppressive fire) when you're blazing away in FA.

It's hard to hit anything with that gun when you're blazing away in autofire mode.
