The hacker cards on Aaron's resources page inspired me to make cards for the spells, mainly to help out the players in my game. I'm making good progress, but am having a hard time finding suitable images for Acid Stream and Toxic Wave.

Any suggestions?

Do you want them to be from Shadowrun sources? And are you worried about non-SR intellectual property rights?

I don't really intend to sell them, so I don't think intellectual rights really matter. these are just for fun.

Then again, this country's IP laws confuse the bejesus outta me.

Tres kewl. I was thinking to do some myself, but frankly I'm glad somebody else is doing it.

Are you interested in making them available to the Interweb? If so, do you have space to host them? If not, would you like to have them hosted on my site?

For images, how about:

Here's a 1-page test version of some of the spells. I just did nine so far, didn't take too long at all - 20 minutes tops, including pic searching. I based them off the cards from the SR ccg, using the "spell gear" cards as a template.

I really hate the Punch line of spells, so I didn't put much effort into finding their pics, except for the really sweet Indy one I've been meaning to use for a while =)

Here's page one

If I like the way these turn out, I'll prolly make a full set for all the firearms, accessories, and ammo in the main books as well. I've already done a set of fake Magic the Gathering cards for my DnD game =)

Aaron: sure thing. I have space, but don't really want to make a frontpage for it. If you're down with hosting, I'll gladly send them your way when I'm done.

Very nice. Reminds me of the Shadowrun card game. What are you using?

Send me a PM when you're done, and we'll arrange the whole file-sending thing.

Just might work nicely. I'm trying to find a pic of a whole lot of people unconscious on the ground, but not having any luck.

@ Aaron: Will do. Might take mae some time, mainly in finding appropriate pics. I am indeed using templates from the card game, and the shadowrun font for the text. Text is copied-pasted from the PDF, and edited for space.

Finding a pic of a bunch of people out cold seems difficult. I took a look around and this was the closest I've found.
Batman and crowd

You could also grab a screenshot from a video game (like many rpgs) of a fight sequence right as the last character in the party goes down. Failing those options it might be time to resort to photoshop.

If you're still working on this project and (still) need help, I'll be glad to help collect pics.

Thanks!

I had put the project on hold for a bit, but now I've picked it up again. Any pictures you can find for any of the spells would be greatly appreciated, as my search-fu is weak.
