Since Shen seems to have lost interest in him Brandon turns his attentions to the blonde girl sat beside him. He studies her and then seems to be thinking. He scratches his nose a bit.

"If you are going to rest, just make sure that you are strapped in, and if I need to out-drive anyone, I'll try and keep it as smooth as possible.

"Yes." says Brandon emphatically, "but she's pregnant." Autumn's galnce round confirms to her that she does have a tail. A small rotor drone is following the car trying to stay out of the mirrors.

Drive test from Autumn, If Shen does rest for an hour he'll get his healing. Autumn may have a medkit for his burns...

Autumn roll initiative for vehicle combat (just like the normal one but you have to use an action to control the vehicle see page 161 in the main book for some options on that. You won the position test on the drone, so can pick range out of short, medium and long, long means you can escape, short is best for shooting it (ie accelerating away or braking hard to put it in pistol shot range.

Shen feel free to roll initiative if you want to act during the round.

Autumn breaks hard and maneuvers the car to line up on the drone.

The drone shifts slightly as it zips past the car matching speed to allow it to better follow, it's prey.

"Pregnaaaaaant!" says Hannah as her stomach lurches in the maneuvering.
"Yes," says Brandon seemingly unphased by the shift in speed.

Wishing to end this as quickly as possible, Shen closes his eyes, focuses them on the drone after he opens them, and lets loose a bolt of lightning.

since thats lightning bolt your casting, it'll be stopped by the window, which is opening but not quickly enough to be entirely happy. I'll apply some cover to the drone

Lightning hits the drone, for a moment the lights on the sensor pack flicker and then the drone continues as if nothing happend.

4S(elec) don't bother the drone and that force doesn't help with the chanc eof shorting it. First pass over, so onto Second Pass,Autumns action.

2 shots from the Ruger Thunderbolt, loaded with APDS = Agil + pistols + smartlink - 3 moving vehicle = 16 dice, 5 hits, and 9 hits

Autumn pulls her Thunderbolt and leans out of the window slightly to take two shots.

The pistol barks twice and it's like hearing God clear his throat. Hannah yelps in shock at the noise, the first volley tears a hole in the drones casing. The second shot tears the body of the drone apart.

bad guys need tougher drones, 26 boxes of damage after soak really did a number on it.

As Autumn pulls back into the car, she notices an anonymous sedan pulling out of a side road about fifty metres back riding low on it's suspension. Looks like you have more pursuit.

Autum wins initiative (by a mile) and the position test(much closer)

Autumn puts her foot down trying to extend the lead and it seems to be working.

Autumn needs to make an break pursuit test. Thats a threshold 3 test. You'll need to make this three rounds in a row to break the tail, and keep at long range(win position test each round) too. Test away. Unless anyone has a clever idea, just give me two vehicle tests one for successes for position. Then one at threshold 3 for the escape

The car behind tries to keep up, weaving between the few other vehicles on the road.

A few minutes of hard pedal to the metal driving combined with a couple of stomach lurching skid-turns pass. Autumn hurls the car round another car, thank all the spirits this car seems to cling to the road tighter than a high school boy to has prom night date. Another corner and out onto a straight. A glance in the mirrors confirms it, looks like you've got clear. You can relax just a fraction, and some comment about pregnancy that came from the back dances across your brains.

"I'm sorry, my spell list is not very well suited for combat. My upbringing was rather... sheltered. Even that lightning spell was very recently learned."

Fire elemental is still folowing I believe, you can converse and get full rest so at the end of the journey Shen can have healed 4 boxes of stun.
