Shen's Quest IC, OMG I'm running for Emo Samurai... Options

[Ophis]

"Cool, I hope so." says Cheerleader, "I think giving Hannah a little time to relax would be a good idea first, she seems fairly on edge after that little bit of excitement outside."

[emo samurai]

"That would seem appropriate.

"Hannah, whenever you are ready, we may begin."

[Ophis]

Hannah nods, "I'll have a shower first if that's okay."

[emo samurai]

"It is."

Shifting perceptions, Shen tries to predict how cooperative she will be during therapy.

You think Autum's example has done her good, she seems more co-operative than before.

Shen turns to Autumn, Wildside, and Cheerleader.

"This is the first time I killed; should I be troubled the fact I did so so easily?"

[Ophis]

"Better than going to pieces." says Wildchild.

[emo samurai]

"I suppose, and those men most arguably deserved death."

[Metatron]

"I can't remember the first time I killed, but I agree with Wildchild, it's better than going to pieces"

[emo samurai]

"I wonder if a necessary evil can really be called an evil, since it is necessary..."

[Ophis]

"Killing in defence of something is different than killing in cold blood," says Cheerleader, "The only killing I try to avoid is the sort where my spirits do it, I'm not comfortable ordering someone else to do it for me."

[emo samurai]

"Does it make you feel as if you're trying to avoid moral responsibility? Sometimes, though, it must be a tactical necessity..."

[Ophis]

"Not usually with Wildchild around, yeah it is like avoidind the responsibility, plus I always have a choice to kill or not, my spirits have to obey me, I have a problem with that. But being a Pheonix,"
"Groupie," interjects Wildchild with a grin, recieving a finger from Cheerleader.
"Shamen. My totem hates trapping things as do I."

[emo samurai]

"I see...

"I do not know how I view binding... I always thought of it as convincing spirits to do something for me. I do not know if that is better or worse than simply trapping them..."

[Ophis]

"It's forcing a spirit to serve you by force of will alone, I've seen people who negotiate with their spirits, they do so much better with binding but end up doing odd things in payment."

[emo samurai]

"Doing odd things does not bother me very much. I try to understand the relatively alien mindsets of my spirits."

[Ophis]

"I don't really find spirits anymore alien than someone from a different country really." Says Cheerleader in between sips of tea.

[emo samurai]

"Most people in foreign countries wouldn't kill for a whiff of aromatic wood." Shen laughs.

[Metatron]

"If you've finished with me, then I'll be on my way. I have a son to entertain.."

[Ophis]

"Depends which country," says Cheerleader, "Yeah Autumn, we should be cool now, thanks you've been a star as ever." She stands and gives Autumn a quick hug.

[emo samurai]

"I doubt I would have survived that without your help. Thank you."

[Metatron]

Autumn hugs cheerleader back

"It's cool. Tell Hannah that she is still welcome to join us on a day trip if she wants. See you guys around"

She turns and walks out the door.

[Ophis]

A few moments after Autumn leaves there is the rroar of her car's engine starting up and then the car pulls away. Wildchild drains his cup. "I'll head upstairs and start a look out." he says, moving up the stairs to do exactly that.

Cheerleader glances at Shen, "Well I'm sure Hannah will be ready soon, anything you need to do while we wait?"

Shen shakes his head. "No, I am fine."

[Ophis]

"Cool."

The two of you can settle down and relax for about an hour. After that hannah will come down stairs, her hair is wet and she's in a fresh set of jeans and t-shirt. "Okay," she says nervously, "I guess I'm ready."
