Awesome ... I will start putting something together.... start with 1 ... then possibly move to two. MSN seems like a good place to communicate. I am working on some php tools for PnP games. Right now I almost have the interactive map where players and gm can move their units around the uploaded map. I will also be working on a net reporting dice roller. you tell it to roll... and it rolls the Dice and lets the GM know what the result was.

I would like to run an Otaku. I think Yahoo Instant Messenger would be good.

Email is also good, although slower. Better yet would be an IC thread right here on Dumpshock.

X - I tried emailing you, and have not heard back. You around or did my email get filtered out?

D - I don't have yahoo, and unfortunately I just cannot stand Otaku. Sorry man.

If you want to run a decker, I can do icq, msn, irc, or even aim.

I'd like to learn more about that. The reason I want to play an Otaku is to get some first hand info on them. If you have real first hand info, I'm interested.

As to making a decker, I could do that. I have used IRC; I guess I could try ICQ, too.

I can't really explain it more than the group that I used to game with and I just think the Otaku, gifted child of the matrix thing was carried too far. I am all for decking naked, or program carriers/assist, then using your stats and computer skill for whipping up programs. But that is something that you do when you have no other choice, instead of being the ghost's gift to the matrix, and fading out over time.

More than anything it is a personal bias, that my group and I have cultivated over time.
I also have overly strong opinions of immortal elves, horror crossings, and invincible great dragons.

OKAY!!! 'nuff said, and then kept going.

Let's change the subject. Any special rules for creating the Decker. SR3, Companion, Matrix, and what else? Priorities, Points ?

sorry ... was not trying to preach but explain.

sr3 rules you can use either priorities or points.

max rating/avail 6.... with an exception for the deck which could have up to an mpcp rating of 8 (the kraftwerk)

I don't mind min/maxing, and you can have any cyber/bio you can afford (cultured included), but only alpha grade at chargen.

Take some physical skills as some runs will require some b&e.

Mondays could work. Wednesdays I play shadowrun with my wife. I am in the same time zone. This monday will be out, as I have to drop the family off at the inlaws for a week.
