Hi, I'm running a 3rd Edition campaign and I had a question on Locate File with a Host-Host Access system.
Say my system looks like this: [LTG]-[HostA]-[HostB]-[HostC] The files are stored on HostC. If the decker enters HostA and performs a successful Locate File, would the result tell him that the file does not exist, or would it tell him that the file is on HostC? |

Could be either, depends how the sysadmin set it up. Say HostC is a top-secret research host, and HostA runs secreterial applications: HostA won't know what's on HostC.
So it depends how you want to set it up. You could say "Go look on HostB", or whatever you like. |
