This has come up a few times in our group. What exactly do the dobermans and steel lynxes look like?
My perception is they're crawlers, not anthromorphs. Any ideas? |

The Steel Lynx is pictured in Fields of Fire, and looks like a more gracile, man-sized version of the crawler-tank from the Ghost in the Shell movie. Four legs, with wheels at the end of each that can be used as a traction foot or as a spinning propulsion unit.
The Doberman is pictured in the Rigger Black Book and appears to be inspired by K-9. But with larger, more visible wheels and a more authoritative turret. -Frank |

Since most folks will probably look at K-9 and just think "dog," here's a bit more detail (including a pic): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K-9_%28Doctor_Who%29
