Are his books really that good? I haven't to this date read a single shadowrun novel, because the first couple that I checked out were bad enough to sour me on the genre as a whole. Is Findley actually worth reading?

I personally really enjoy Findley's work. Remember, he didn't only write novels. He was a major contributor to a lot of RPG material, not only SR either.
