I only wish the two had been hired by the secretary and provided information to steal the plans directly... that would have been sweet indeed.

That's why smart people gladly pay the 20-50% cut to the fixer.

How playing SR can make you not go into prison... rookies. You do not imply yourself in a crime to the general populace.

On the ongoing battle between Coke and Pepsi: If one does not already know the other recipe, or at least has a scientific guesstimate, they donīt want to know. Business intelligence is more about cost structure and strategy than imitation. High-tech industries exempted.

If anyone has seen the documentary "The Corporation" they actually interview a guy who claims to have been a professional industrial spy. He would get a job at a company and figure out where the important info is and how to get it. Then he'd quit and sell the info to the firm that hired him.

The bad part is since I've started playing Shadowrun I see shadowruns (and shadowrun ideas) happening all over the place. Just awhile ago on Real TV I watched this video of a big ass oil rig just detonating in the middle of the Upper New York Bay near Ellis Island (I think) and I instantly thought "Wow, that would make a cool Shadowrun idea!" I just find some of those "weird" events to not really be weird anymore. Amazing where you can find ideas.

I have to wonder why someone from Indiana is linking the Austin American Statesman.

Hmmmmmm.

Is Dumpshock a front for real runners, who communicate in code?

Is every one of EMO SAMURAI's polls really a job offer? Is Critias the hardened FBI agent chasing him down? Did Fortune just come out of retirement for one last run? HMMMMM?

That is where the "playbook" comes in. That's probably what was the real value in the package they were offering.
