A BBC article about the ever increasing cameras and other monitoring items on their citizens.

Did see an interesting show about US policy of collecting information on individuals, they're kinda hampered by law to prevent them from collecting too much info on citizens, but that does not mean private companies can't and how gov't are a major client for those data mining companies.
