This SA article proves that roleplaying sucks because apparently roleplaying means acting out your secret socially unacceptable fantasies using your player character. Therefore, we should all stop this obscene self aggrandizement and just become honest munchkins preoccupied with good clean numbers. :rotfl: |

Yep, that was about the same reaction I had to FATEL as well.
Insert fork, remove eyeball. Empty bleach into cavity. |

And I would be like "Hallelujah! My daughter is a lesbian! Praise the Lord! Prayer does work! I won't have to go to prison for murdering groping boyfriends like with my other family that nobody knows about!" And F.A.T.A.L. has some interesting mechanics. |

I hafta agree with hyzmarca. I can deal with my offspring being gay, bi or straight though. However woe to anyone that hurts my baby without being asked to... That is if I had a child.

Actually, I have plans to have a team of Shadowrunners steal Richard Dean Anderson's sperm and freeze it so that any lesbian daughters I may have in the future can impregnate themselves with MacGyver jrs. And I said that the mechanics were interesting, not that they were good. I like my sexually explicit RPGs to be rules lite. |

The character rules have no mental attributes. They're all physical! |

Talk is sort of a mental attribute. But really, it is a Hentai roleplaying game. You don't need mental stats. Heck, the rules themselves are pretty superfluous. |

I have a hunch that this is a game that is better played online than face to face. ;) |

It can be played face to face if and only if there is at least one female gamer in the group. With a female gamer or two it is a fun sexually charged party game; you can even get some Jesuit missionaries involved. If, however, the gaming group is comprised of all males then it is just pathetic.

As for FATAL....lets see...
Ive made it a point to usually end up reviewing horrible things. We're talking Hillsfar and other 8bit D&D games. Rollerblade, a movie that took place in the future that had rollerskating nuns. Starcrash, a movie that had David Hasselhoff shooting red lazers out his eyes and being the Son of the Emperor of the Universe who was played by Christopher Plummer of Sound of Music fame. ive seen Battlefield Earth five times, against my will. Ive seen Manos: Hands of Fate, both with AND Without MST3k treatment. Ive played Ultima: Runes of Virtue and Brandish for SNES. Ive played Heroes of the Lance for more than ten minutes. I havnt lost SAN until i read the rules to FATAL. Now, I have these rules in PDF form. But, i cannot be responsible for any of you guys sporking your eyes out and setting fire to the empty sockets with old lighter fluid. I don't want to be responsible to the SAN loss of the entire board.... ... ... ... ... ... ... That being said, i'll upload it if anyones curious. :grinbig: |
