Got a question for the deckers in here. Any of you hit what's being called the "Santa Worm?"
A chummer of mine's boyfriend seems to have run into it and he gave away half his :nuyen: to various charities. He said he just wanted to do some good with it. I checked out where he gave the money and they all seem legit and couldn't find a corporate link between them. A decker contact of mine had a similar experience. He didn't remember hitting anything but said he just felt he needed to give lots of :nuyen: to his church. Reports are of a Renraku decker who tried to do this and when he wouldn't give to corp charities alone, he got a trip to a holding cell. Can't verify that one yet. So anyone else hear of this unnerving trend? |
