the senses are not so much disabled as cut of. the signal still flows, but it does not reach the relevant parts of the brain. instead a simulated signal is inserted. that cut of is the job of the RAS override.

now, by removing the RAS, you get double the signal. ones from the body, and ones from the simrig loop...
