The initiate makes a Magic+Intuition test against the target's Willpower+Charisma. If successful, the magician takes control of the target's body and acts as if she were a spirit with force equal to her initiation grade for all physical stats. Magic is as high as normal.

The SR3 rules require the target to be astrally active. I don't see the point in that requirement being omitted. The method to possess is based on astral combat. Again, no reason to change that.

Physical stats are unchanged, and mental states are the possessor's.
