Wiki starts to run some scenarios and plans through his mind on what he could do with the Johnson's computer system to aid the investigation. He remains quiet as he does this but part of his attention is focused on the discussion going on around him.

Siu Fu enjoys the speed seen from Wildcard's bike. He begins to wonder if challenging Wildcard to a race was such a good idea. However, he heads upstairs to his flat and grabs is katana, and some guns. He then jumps on his bike and starts to race Wildcard to the meet.

Wildcard grins as he waits for Siu Fu to retrieve his gear from his doss. His nanotat flickers between symbols as his adrenaline pumps and his heart beats to the steady techno music beating in his ears.

When Siu Fu pulls around his bike Wildcard gives a thumbs up on the race and a few seconds head start before darting off after him into the hills Sai Kung. He manuevers his bike across the winding roads of Sai Kung with ease, able to navigate even the deepest of trails in his sleep. Thes were his roads and no one was going to best him in a race through Sai Kung.

6 February 2070 13:10 Outside An Shui's Apartment Building

Quiet for most of the rest of the ride, as they prepare to drop off An Shui he says, "Give me a moment and I'll follow you." He exits the car, proceed around to a ground floor apartment and returns a minute later with his street bike.

Siu Fu can not believe his eyes. He stares for a short time at Wildcard's quickly receeding back until he is only a speck on the horizon. Upon arriving, Siu Fu takes a moment to find Wildcard and bows to him.

You are indeed a most worthy opponent.

6 February 2070 (various times, based on arrival) Sunset Leadership Ranch

Arriving at the ranch, the first thing you notice is that ranch is the right word. Open green spaces, horses, that country air, it's almost like a Western BTL.

The gate is closed; however, once you approach, the gate opens up for you and you hear, presumably from the speaker, Welcome to Sunset Leadership Ranch. Mr. Sunset is waiting for you in the main administrative building.

For those with the commlinks, you have the layout, complete with markings of each building, and you are headed for the second building near the gate.

Interestingly enough, there was nobody at the gate to meet or stop you.

6 February 2070 - 13:00 - Sunset Leadership Ranch

Wildcard speeds up to the gate, his bike roaring beneath him as he arrives. He is the first to show, having left Siu Fu in the dust as the made his way through Sai Kung. He knew the roads and hills of the east coast of HK better than any other and no one he knew could best him there.

He pulled through the gate, slowing to check the place out with a appreciative eye. He pulled into a parking spot and lcoked his bike up, leaning against the rice rocket and lighting up a cigarette as he waited for the others to arrive.

6 February 2070 - 13:11 - Sunset Leadership Ranch

Satchel looks around as the pull into the ranch, the open space reminds him of home as he pulls the car to a stop, slowly shutting it down. As he does he turns to the others, "Ok here we are. If you hadn't guessed I'm not much of a talker, so I'm just going to stay in the back ground and watch our six. If I catch anything I'll text the group."

With that he turns around and climbs out of the car. Once everyone is out he locks it and sets the alarm. Then falls into line with the others staying to the back.

An Shui parks the bike next to Satchel's car. He engages the wheel lock as always and follows the other team members. His excitement level is beginning to grow. We're here. It's time. Time to earn the rent. The nudging of the Lady is for calm. Restraint.

He takes a deep breath and feels the oxygen enter into his entire body, then exhales his anxiety. I wish I would have spent more time studying Ti Chi. He moves deliberately so as to not betray his magically enhanced reflexes using techniques he has practiced for more than a year.

He pulls out his hand camera to begin recording the area, making conscious effort not to record any the other runners.

As the car pulls into the ranch Wiki stares out the window and takes in the sites. As he does so he thinks, why couldn't my parents find time to take me to a place like this.

After the car starts Wiki gets out with the others and says, "So where do we start?"

Siu Fu takes in the sights and thinks, "This place is nice. Perhaps one day i can have a place like this."

To the others assembled he says, "Are we ready?"

Stopping the camera for a moment An Shui addresses the team, "Yes, but if I may. I would like to record the scene and assense it prior to our distrubing it. What that be acceptable to everyone?"

Dawn noticed they were a silent bunch. She wondered how new a job this was for some of them.

"Lets go meet with Mr. Sunset first. Perhaps he may have something further to add that his assistant didn't."

It was a suggestion, it was her intent to go to talk with the man and see if there was something indeed more to add. Perhaps the kidnappers called back while they were coming to the ranch with more demands and declarations. She made use of the map in her commlink to find the main admin building where Mr. Sunset was to be located.

Siu Fu glances over at Dawn and says, "Sure thing. I will follow you there."

Even as An Shui nods in agreement, he remembers Sun Tzu's lesson from a few weeks ago: Warfare is the Way of deception.

6 February 2070 13:15 Sunset Leadership Ranch

As you go to the Administration Building, this place seems more and more relaxing. No wonder corps like sending people here; it seems like the perfect place to recharge.

Off in the distance, you hear laughter, oohs and ahhs, and even some frustration over the hill in what your maps identify as the Ropes Course. You can also smell a few horses nearby.

Once you approach the Admin building, you are greeted at the front door by a tall human, causasian, about 6'3, and built for a fight. He looks you over, then lets you in.

You must be the parties Emily told me about. Mr. Sunset will be right back. You can wait for him in the meeting room.

For those that go in the room, it is a nice meeting room, but not extravagant. Plush chairs, brown table, and inspirational posters around the room. Also, the windows offer a nice view of the back woods behind the ranch.

Walking towards the designated building An Shui visually takes in the ranch. Such a start contrast to his neighborhood. As the smells of the horses assault his olfactory he thinks, Perhaps not so different after all...

Reaching the doorman, An Shui gives a small, courtious bow and in response to the verbal observation and directions he replies, "Yes. Thank you"

Looking around the room, he steps to the side and waits for his teammates to enter before sitting.

Wiki is busy looking all around as he follows the others to the admin building. After having spent so much of his life indoors he is finding it hard to get used to so much open space.

The familiar sight of some "muscle" brings the young man back to the reality of the situation and he continues into the designated waiting area.

Siu Fu stops to bow slightly to the muscle at the door. He then enters the room and takes a neutral position at the table with his back to the wall.

Wildcard strode across the grounds of the Ranch with ease, a slight strut in his step. The nanotat under his was a red heart at the moment and his armored riding jacket hung open casually.

He bowed slightly to the guard at the door, sizing the man up as he did so and proceeded into the adminstrative building after the others.

Dawn goes to take a seat to await the arrival of the owner. There wasn't much else to do here but wait. Time was still not their best friend at the moment. The longer they have to wait the more time the bad guys get to set up plans and the victim is put into danger.

Times like this she wish she did not quit smoking.
